ELG-3A Padme Blaster

I've been working on making a Padme blaster replica. I've gone back and forth on machining or 3D printing, but after seeing eethan's thread I decided machining was the way to go. It's 6061 aluminum with the grip made from thermally modified birch. Built using a mini lathe and a mini mill. Here's the progress so far.

Model I did in Fusion 360 that I was going to print, but it became a reference for building.

More sanding to do on the grip, but getting closer. I'm thinking of going with brushed instead of polished for the trigger for some contrast.
