Padme's blaster project - ELG-3A - screenaccurate details and proportions - idealized metal and wood materials

WHEW I WAS WORRIED TOO.
No worries guys,
I know this project has been crazy delayed, when I complete it, I'll contact each people in order of the list and arrange payment through my website in private, i'll not put the blasters for sale publicly before everyone on the list has had a chance to get his if they still want one. It has been really long so I understand if someone changed his mind on that.
cheers

eethan you’ve probably already seen this, but for further reference, propstore is auctioning a hero Padme blaster. Link below:
Padme blaster

“Padmé Amidala's (Natalie Portman) hero blaster from George Lucas' Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. Padmé used her blaster during the assault on Theed Palace. It also appears on page 29 of Star Wars Episode I: The Visual Dictionary, in both its long-barrel and short-barrel form.

The blaster features a resin body with vacuum metalised plating, an aluminium barrel and nozzle, and a wooden handle. The blaster has some wear from use, most notably some red staining on the top of the body, and a couple of sections where the plating has come away, revealing the black resin beneath. Dimensions: 33 cm x 4 cm x 13 cm (13" x 1 1/2" x 5")”

thank you, yes, I have seen this when they released the photos and mentioned it quickly in my project run thread :)
quite amazing references of a never seen before hero blaster with an actual wood handle! all the previous examples I had seen had a painted resin handle!
this really makes me happy in what I managed to achieve and conforts me in my choice of walnut for one variation of the handle as it seems really close to this example as showed here:

I previously chose that wood to represent in particular the short barrel blaster visible in the visual dictionary as well as several scene of the movies:

this also doesn't change the fact that there are several variations seen throughout the movies and different books and exhibitions. the one blaster in the lucasfilm archives and exhibits, of which I have really good references of, has a more vivid handle that I chose to reprensent with this very nice Pao Ferro piece of wood that I had:

Anyways, it's absolutely awesome to see those photos, I am absolutely jealous of the person that will eventually buy this as it's one of my dreamest props ever, hence that project :)
cheers
