EFX PCR boba helmet

I'm using an RS Prop Masters helmet stand. Great (and unexpected thing) about them is that their stands come with multiple pole lengths and also have a connecting screw so that you could actually screw all individual poles together if you wanted an extra long length. I was very impressed with the stand when it arrived.

Nice...what stand are you using that you can put it in a Detholf with the rangefinder in the standing up position?

Thanks...do you know what exact length you have for the Boba?I need to cut my stand a little bit down.

Hello,

Saw this on IG.

It looks like a « Signature Edition » will be soon announced by EFX.
In the picture posted by D.Logan it is the PCR version, but I highly doubt the SE helmet will be a PCR. It would be strange. Wait & see for the official release.

Disclaimer : if you do not know about EFX, be aware of their reputation before buying anything. Only (pre-)order knowingly and read the various topics here and there.

the only EFX product I own is this PCR Boba Fett helmet and don't know anything about their Signature Edition line

Besides the autographed plaque, what would be the differences between SE and the PCR helmet?
what are the usual costs?
And does EFX ever sell the autograph plaques separate?

The sig does nothing for me. I'd be surprised it this turned out to be a fiberglass version. I am happy with my pcr and my black series on the way.

I think the only difference is the autograph plaque, considering the helmet pictured is the PCR. If they were making a fiberglass one they'd probably call it the Legend Edition or something.

The signature plaque does nothing for me. To me, they just get in the way. The only thing I have it out for, and I have several, is the MR sig AT AT. Obviously, with that it looks silly without the plaque.

I have to say that this helmet has grown on me, mainly because I haven't handled it for a while. Now it's sat behind glass the seams are pretty difficult to see unless looking. The only way to be reminded of how cheap it feels is to pick it up, which i don't generally do with any of my prop toys and ornaments.
It's a nice looking object.

Hello,

It looks like the helmet is available via starwarstore.com
Limited edition of 100 according to the site.

On one hand I think the plaque is a nice addition/tribute. I personally like the idea of gathering most Boba interpreters.

But, on the other hand, I am disappointed that this is offered with the PCR version. A direct cast from the mold EFX did back in 2012 would have been great for this. But it looks like we will never see direct copies from that mold sadly.

As for the price, $999...
Well, considering the PCR retails for $379, $620 for just the signed plaque, it’s a bit steep.

My opinion might be skewed here as I don't see the value in autographs in general, but that's ridiculous. You're paying $600 for an accessory to something that costs less than that. Not to mention that comes out to $100 per autograph, which is more than what it cost to meet these guys at a convention.

My speech. No one of these guys takes 100 at cons. Jeremy signes for 30 at private signings. He es the only one who counts here. What does Logan had to do with the ESB Helmet? Nothing. Totally overpriced.

Well, its a bit of a stretch but Logan does voice Boba in Clone Wars, and it was planned to have Boba in the helmet before the series was cancelled/put on hiatus. In fact there are preliminary animatics of a Boba/Cad Bane shootout where the helmet gets its famous forehead ding.

What a ridiculous attempt at grabbing thousands more dollars out of collectors pockets. I hope that nobody buys this. I LOVE the PCR Fett helmet as it was originally intended to be. A good priced item with excellent quality for display purposes. Anyone who wants a PCR Fett should just buy the regular edition and save themselves a massive amount of cash

That is crazy. If I remember correctly MR used to charge $100 extra for the Signature Series props back in the day, which I didn't mind paying since you were still only paying $399 to $499 tops for most of them. I wouldn't have minded paying an extra $100 for one with Jeremy's signature but there is no way I would pay an extra $600 for people I have never heard of.
