I think it's the same mentality where people pay 4-5× markup for things that will be readily available, but they hit eBay just to say they have it first.

Just ordered this helmet. Been out of the prop game for awhile but since selling my MR helmet (due to those pesky visor issues you can’t “unsee”) I’ve been wanting a good Fett helmet. For the money this looks great. As time goes on in prop collecting it seems the more affordable options just keep getting better and better. Sure it’s not a high end LEGENDS helmet, but it’s cool that more people can get a “mostly” accurate prop for a fair price. Now I guess I gotta order a Mando helmet. Haha
I think there’s another wave coming. Big Bad Toy Store has them listed as being back in stock in December.
I believe there is plenty more to come as this was an open edition. However I believe signature editions are done and only available secondary market. GC

Well I finally pulled the trigger on one of these from Sideshow. I have a modified Rubies with an excellent paint job but lately the shape inaccuracies have been bugging me, namely the fat mandibles. Planning to have it as a companion piece to my 2nd gen Hero casting.
