I'm assuming the chrome Fett helmet is suppose to be a reference to the Mando's silver/slightly chrome helmet
But also maybe what the helmets look like freshly new, before battle damage and before they are painted
If EFX was going for a pre painted helmet, EFX should had removed the dent
I think this would had made sense and looked great

EFX also released chrome versions of their Stormtrooper and Vader helmets. These are kind of just novelty pieces.

Clearly anyone who buys a chrome Fett helmet isn't buying it for accuracy.
