I wonder when BBTS will get their stock.
Ahh... The Great Pasadena Death March...
Here's an idea...Yes, seems like an blank canvas to create your own custom interior. Looking forward to seeing what you do with yours.
The metal ears and the visor hold the two halves(front and back) and the mandibles in place together and help keep the plastic from moving about.EFX sure love their gaps in between parts. They could have done better joining the separate pieces. And your post is insinuating that it's a cheap flimsy helmets. The gaps don't help the cause either. Look wise it's very well done.
Although Hasbro's helmet will not be as screen accurate it will be a hell of a lot sturdier and better joining of the parts going off their previous helmets. Their helmets are solid.
Here are some pictures of the stress lines and lines that are created from the plastic forming process. It’s hard to get a picture of them.Ok, questions
where are the stress lines, outside or inside. I cant see them unless all the weathering are hiding them.
Are stress lines from the tightness of the build, if so, you think maybe some sanding/trimming/etc.. can loosen the tightness. I'm afraid over time the stress lines will turn to cracks from the parts being held together too tight.
And do you think the seem lines can be tighten from of course, sanding, trimming, etc...
But I think gap seems are not too bad, my only main issues are the stress lines
The seem gaps is not a reason I will not buy helmet
Cause I think helmet looks amazing and since helmets are shipping I want one now
But unfortunately Xmas just passed and I'm out if cash till maybe March, and Bait has sold out
But BBTS has in stock.
The Hasbro one is less accurate though. No wavy brow, more symmetrical, shorter range finder and the right ear is to thick(to hold the mechanics for the rangefinder) but it will absolutely be a sturdy build for sure. But we haven’t seen the actual paint yet.Gaps and stress lines? I'll hold out for the Hasbro helmet.

Me personally am looking forward to a lighter lid for comfort that’s why I ordered the EFX one.
I have my GMH that will pass for 501st. but having one that was cast from the original gives it some lineage at least. Even with the flaws.
I don’t understand why Hasbro scanned the original helmet only to change sooo much.
