Yes, photos are appearing from collectors in HK who have received them. Looks like the paint apps are excellent although I'm still very interested to see how Hasbro's compares as they are a much larger company and probably have access to some top level factories out there who could surpass the efx factory paintjobs. We'll see. Great that they're actually shipping now. Looks like my BAIT order for this and my RS Propmasters order for the Scout Trooper helmet will end up arriving at similar times. Cool!

I’m not a paint guy or Fett Official but I’m impressed with the paint/weathering on this for a mass produced product.

How do you do that? Do you need to remove the heavy factory tape first before you put in the fiberglass?

I must look whats better from the space inside when I have one in hand. But normally nothing can ever move in this helmet when the fiberglass is hard.
When the visor is bad I will also remove it for a better quality one.

My guess would be that since Boba Fett helmets are supposed to be made of fiberglass, it would make it feel a little more premium. The PCR Stormtrooper helmet is very sturdy so I imagine this would feel similar.

Eh seems kind of unnecessary IMO. Even if you're planning to troop with it for 501st or just for fun, a plastic helmet beats out a fiberglass helmet in terms of durability. My Montross helmet is all cold cast fiberglass, heavy and I cannot even think about what would happen if I dropped it by accident. My ABS Snowtrooper helmet(s) on the other hand have dropped, and simply bounced around like nothing even happened.

I actually like my special edition PCR Vader compared to most of the fiberglass vaders I've owned.
I had the MR Fett and once I heard about the pinched visor on these boards, I couldn't unsee it and I sold it. I am really digging this one...hard to find a reason to complain. My only wish is that the inside didn't look so unfinished, but I can remedy that.

Yes, seems like an blank canvas to create your own custom interior. Looking forward to seeing what you do with yours.
