EFX PCR boba helmet

I can't cancel any EFX or Anovos products, as I don't give them a simple dime.

Those people that still give them money for the few really available products are as much part of the problem as the companiesthemselves. They are the ones that keep them running with their cash flow.

So with the Black Series Helmet being a modified 3d scan of the original helmet, can we re-evaluate the accuracy of the efx in comparison?

Am I going crazy or is the dent on the helmet awfully round (Pics in page 5) in comparison to the prototype seen on display (Or even actual prop for that matter)?

Infact the helmets seen in page 5 looks way too clean in comparison to the clearly asymmetrical prototype.

I think we've been dun goofed.

You're not understanding what you're looking at (and this has already been commented on) - the main helmet is a three-piece construction... front half, back half, and a top "cap" piece that fits over the two halves, but which isn't present in any of those pics. The cap piece will have the correct
dent shape. The dent in the understructure dome doesn't need to have the precise shape - it just needs a depression for the cap piece dent to fit into. Notice also the registration ribs for the cap piece on both front and back halves on the dome.

The Hasbro helmet is even more idealized and symmetrical. Hasbro has removed the scratch on the left side of the helmet and the mandibles are the same height.

Kinda has a round shape on the face and the visor needs to sit farther back or deep. I hope they fix that.

Thanks for clarifying, i didnt look too much into the previous posts.

Well it looks like there is at least progress being made, EFX posted a few more update images showing helmets with paint applications.

Shout out to MinuteFett on TheDentedHelmet who pointed the pictures out.

Yeah. I'm guessing at least a month after they finish them to arrive in the states. I would guess Nov - Dec.

I'm really intrigued about whether the Hasbro Black Series or Efx PCR will have the better paintjob.
I’m guessing the BS will likely be the most unique of the two mainly because of how it was applied and molded into it vs the PCR being more accurate. Can’t wait to find out.

I'm so glad I didn't sell my Master Replicas Boba Fett! Pinched visor & everything else of it, at least I have the damn thing!

It sits on the mantle, even now.

I don't think there is any reason to not expect plenty of products from Hasbro and they will actually exist. It is hard to count on products from Anovos and efx being delivered in a reasonable amount of time, if at all.

It may be harder to find Hasbro products on store shelves, but at least they will be available online.
