Limited Run Droid Caller - Precision Machined Kit

Yes, the replica mount screw for the bottoms do fit in the textured Kobolds. The silver Kobolds (or atleast all of mine) have a smaller/ thinner threaded hole.

Dave, if you are interested in making a top with a stepped transition, I will send you one of my silver Kobolds, I dont want anything for it andyou can keep it as long as you need.

Here ya go. I will try to email them as well. These are without the grip but Luke's DOES have the black texture grip. Han's similar one is painted in ESB but Luke ANH one has the texture. Anovos missed a few details on the Han one including the little lever to take the bottom off.

All you need to do is add the step transition, smooth the bottom edge and put the hole through the lens cover which I believe does need to be the one shown below as far as size..

Posted above in the thread. The one on the right is it. A step down transition instead of a curve in the neck, then a round dome with NO hole on top. The Jawa version had the hole but not Luke's. And the bottom metal edge should be smooth. Still has the black texture grip and it's believed the D ring goes through the plastic light bulb cover instead of the clip.

No luck on email. Pics can't seem to go through.

BTW can anyone say if these replica bottom discs will fit a real Kobold??

Thanks

Thomas

You are my new best friend.:thumbsup

Dave,

This would be so sweet if it could happen.

Please include the bottom screw just as it is. People could have the option for, Luke ANH, Han ESB or to use on their real Kobolds. I don't think it's actually on Luke ANH or Han ESB but it would be great to have.

Thanks

Thomas

Do you guys mean the knob that goes in to the bottom disk? that is a 3/8-16 thread.

Thanks, I will let you know when I can get to it, I have a few things happening right now.
They are very similar, so the top and bottom dick would be the only difference

That's ok, I can copy them from here thanks.

I thought I'd share what I did to my DEC droid caller. Keep in mind I still have to file off some burs. I used a textured truck bed liner spray I purchased from Lowe's.

did you make the Luke belt and pouches? They look great

Will you be offering the disk that screws into the bottom part separately?

I could use 2.

Just found this thread, so I'll ask here since it's the more appropriate than the ANH blaster thread, LOL.

Any chance you can sell the contact pin assembly (the pin, the plastic disc, not sure if anything else is needed) separately? I was gifted the Anovos version, else I'd buy one of yours, but apparently Anovos decided it didn't need anything in the cavity on top. *sigh*
