DRIVE (2011) Scorpion Satin Jacket

Well immediately after I finished watching Drive for the first time I thought to myself, I got to have the jacket and the shades. So I did some research and found the Money 2's on the Selima Optique Website but the frame I wanted, which was the Auburn Tortoise was sold out so I contacted Selima so that I could be added to the waiting list. Now this was in November of last year so I've had to wait till know to receive them. I'm not sure if they still have any left in stock but if you are interseted just contact the Selima Optique web department by e-mail or whatever.
Total cost of the shades plus shipping-I live in the UK-was $430
The shades themselves cost $385, I know that is expensive but they are seriously badass!

I tried the boots on and they fit, but pretty tightly. I returned them and I'm planning on getting a full size up because I want to be able to wear them for longer than six months.

But yeah, they're really slippery on carpet. Are they supposed to be like that or is there a way to fix this without damaging the soles?

Mine fit tight as well, but that's how I like it.

Hey Hiccups,

Protect your boots and get toppy! I've got all of mine done, and it's awesome. Protects the leather soles, makes them less slippery, any shoe repair or cobbler can do it, and it's pretty cheap.

Haven't got any photos of my new jacket yet, but I'm hoping to get some eventually. Maybe outside in natural light. I want a custom one made someday too, and here are two mock-ups. I think #2 might be a bit much...

Believe me, so would I!! It would look better fully realized and in person too. The Photoshop job I did isn't the greatest though.

Magnoli's is tailored too though....

This is true, but the turn around is 2 months. I don't mind waiting for a top quality jacket, but for the price and the fact I'd have any variation in 2 weeks is appealing. But then again, I'm just thinking out loud really. This really isnt useful unless you live in the midlands, uk!

Yup! You are correct.

BTW, I am not trying to sound rude but Stacy Adams only makes shoes for men. But who knows... maybe they look good on women feet as well?? :confused

You're right! :) I just orderd my Stacy Adams at shoebuy.com in size 6.5 which should be a 38-39 in european size. Unfortunatelly they are not in stock, so I have wait... I hope they will fit.
I can take a picture when I got them and then you can decide if they look good or not. :lol
