Just an FYI everyone..if you want a good toothpick replica go to any Cracker barrel location. The toothpicks at the checkout are picky only at one end. Nice find...and free. :cool

for those who have the Gaspar gloves, how is the sizing? I measured my knuckles and the size seems to be 8.

I used the dye on my white Stacy Adams yesterday. Here are some progress shots and the finished product. The leather prep. solution actually stripped the paint off the hooks and lace eyes. And the dye covered everything.
I even diluted the dye in water and colored the laces. I am pretty happy with the results. I finished them this morning with some leather conditioner.

Hey guys, I know technically this is a thread for the scorpion jacket and I should be posting comments regarding the jacket. But hey! This thread was corrupted long ago, really it's now more of a Drive replica prop thread more than anything. So Dorian's awsome LA cap idea inspired me to try and track down that clippers hat. So far I've turned up trumps with the exclusion of a few good pics of the screen used cap. Probably a custom made job like most of the drivers get up is. Cap itself is manufactured by Lids in Regal Blue. So I've decided to follow Dorian's lead and get one made up instead. I won't be doing a run of these just one or two for myself. I just though it'd be more fun to share. Here's where I am currently at with the design. Logo all drawn up and I've got a lead on blank caps. All I need now is to find somewhere that can embroider the deisgn onto them!
Here's my photoshoped design. It looks really crappy shrunk down to size and I spent a whole day getting the embroidery just right too.
I'm planning on doing a complete SA costume down to the boots and all. Might take a while to get there and I'm definately going to have to compromise on the Patek Philippe timepiece, but it's going to be pretty rad!
