From an UNCONFIRMED SOURCE, it has come to this page's attention that DNA Films will be reviewing the blu-ray/DVD sales of DREDD in the coming weeks and will be deciding whether or not to make a sequel. If this is true, let's show them how much we want that sequel! If you haven't already, please buy the DVD or blu-ray! More news soon!

I never read the Dredd comics, but did enjoy the latest movie. I liked that Urban doesn't have the ego that demands "I MUST show my face during the movie. To hell with what the comics did!"

The studio should also consider that Dredd has his own section here at the RPF.

I highly doubt that the dredd section would have any effect on the studios decision. Now what the props went for, that should say something.

Regardless, if they make a Dredd film, I will be seeing it first day.

I hope we get to see Dredd again, I thought it was the best movie to come out last year, a shame more people didn't go see it.

I would do anything I could to get a sequel, even if it means buying multiple copies.
What are the chances they test the sales waters by releasing the movie again in a special edition boxed set or something? Maybe the case looks like the helmet (like they did with classic Battlestar Galactica) and then the discs are inside a badge?

That would be awesome!

Saw it at the Cinema, bought the DVD and even bought the Blue Ray 3D (and i don't have a 3D TV) !!!!

Come on lads - let's get this over the finishing line so we all get to see the sequel ...

I just happened to buy the bluray today as it was on sale at Best Buy.

But I haven't even seen the film yet so SHHH! Don't spoil it for me! :lol

I didn't see it in the theater, but picked it up on Blu-Ray. Great flick! Bring on the sequel. The icing on the cake was seeing Lena Headey at the local comic expo just a week later after seeing the movie, and not realizing that she was in it before seeing it.:cool

Considering Resident Evil has had numerous sequels that do well on DVD i can see dredd living on that way for at least several films.
