I've been wanting this Spear ever since I saw the blacksmith in the film retrieve it from beneath the waterfall, and now I finally have the resources to get it done, thanks to a very dear friend!

This is the same company that does all of United Cutlery's swords, including the their 'Lord of the Rings' Swords!

This will go great along with the 'Wizard Amulet' & Vermithrax Dragon Tooth I offered recently!
Not sure how well this will impress the ladies, but by the size of it, it's sure to be a sight to behold!

The price is $250!

This will be offered as a Three-Piece Set, which will be the 'Spearhead', the '3-prong Spike Pole Attachment', and the 'Butt End Cap'.

Plus, the kit includes the Nails and Leather Lace needed to complete the final assembly!

These are "1095 CARBON STEEL"!!!

The wood pole is not included, but can be purchased from the link below!

Measurements:
Spearhead will be 28 inches long with a 20 inch blade!

The blade will also be blackened and sharpened!!! (Refer to pics 4, 5 & 6 below)


These are made to fit a 8 foot by 1 1/4 inch wood dowel rod, which can be found online here: http://totalwoodstore.com/unfinished-round-wooden-dowels/

You'll just need to taper the end down from 1 1/4 inches to 1 inch, then attach the spearhead. Easy!

So, total length of the Spear should be around 10 feet !

Man, I am getting on too many of these hooks lately, hopefully they won't all come to fruition at the same time. I too have wanted to build one of these ever since I saw the movie in the theater as a kid. Please consider me interested!!

once you have a finalised price, do you think you would have this ready to be shipped before june? looking at it as a gift .

Not sure how soon I can have these ready. So far, I'm still waiting for a final quote from the factory, and then it will take them 2-3 months to complete.

So, I can't say when...:unsure

I'm trying to register with a couple of sword forums to see if I can drum up interest over there.

If anyone is already a member of a forum they might think would have any buyers, let me know, or let them know about this run. So, we can get this off and running! :cool
