I hear that. I have been putting off doing my Shocker gauntlets. It's time I got to it this weekend and get them knocked out between Saturday and Sunday. Between that and my gas gun for Sandman I'll be done.

nothing beats getting really pumped for working on a project, it makes things come together that much better <3
Sat and Sun are going to be my cram days because its my off weekend YAY! Lots of building and painting and sewinggggg!
 
Maaaaaan, you guys are killing me. My costumes are all packed and half moved over to the new apartment. All I can do is sit here watching Community. I'm going to have to get right back to work as soon as I can get stuff unpacked next week.
 
Some of us thrive on last minute work. What time I have this weekend is going to be spent finishing my gauntlets and I am essentially done.
 
I've got some addons for my platform shoes to put on this weekend to keep me from snapping my ankles in half, but other than that I think I'm done!
 
Oh the problems associated with being a cosplayer AND wanting to take photos at the same time makes photoshoot planning so difficult, especially when one shoot you wanna get to overlaps with another equally important shoot x.x BOOOOOO
 
I always run into the problem that my writers' workshops always seem to be at the same time as the DC and/or Marvel shoots. This actually worked out because I always seem to have split loyalties, anyway, and can't decide which costume to wear for the shoot. This year, though, I only have one workshop, and only one Marvel-related costume, so I'm hoping I can actually make it for a change. (Though I'm considering bringing my Black Widow/Tasha Romanoff civvies, just to see who's paying attention... =) )
