Yeah man, that is a great video. Lot's of stuff in that race reminds me of the obstacle course in boot camp. And I remember having such a sense of accomplishment when I finished the course. Thanks for sharing that.

Here's another video with Eric Thomas that I listen too when I know I'm not doing everything I can to do my best. http://youtu.be/QyJaFd4XnXc

So...I was watching Back to the Future 2 last night, and it gave me a great Idea!!!!....

According to my timeline schedule that I made for my costumes, I'm a week behind schedule. "Great Scott MatrixSpoon"...

So I thought of this awesome idea...

I'm going to go into the future 2 weeks, and work on my costumes. I'm going to try and get two weeks worth of work done, in one week.

If I can accomplish this then I will be back on schedule and a week ahead which would put me right back on schedule...So wish me luck, I'll see you all in the past...when I get back from the future...

:cheers:cheers:cheers

You remember or have seen that commercial, I think it's for Chase credit card, where the guy uses his credit card to buy power bars and gets in shape and invests in his hobby (comic books) and then uses his credit card points towards the convention....that's how I feel, except I already used my points on an airbrush and I'm broke from investing in my hobby.

I was watching the news yesterday and two newscasters started talking about comiccon. They said "Notice how so many of them are in costume? There's actually a name for that. They call it: cos play. And they take it seriously."

So...apparently it's still 1950 and this hasn't been a thing since probably before either of those reporters were born.

wow that's pretty terrible xD
So is anyone planning on hitting any of the big photoshoots? there's a real nice google drive doc with times and locations for a lot of them. I've also been stalking the dragoncon thread for SCF and the page on facebook for the shoots. There's a huge number of specific subgroups popping out of the larger groups, it's pretty awesome.
