I have a general pep question (but it relates to this file).
When you have a piece that is so large it spans multiple pages... when you print it out, how do you line it up properly?
For the peps I have done in the past (mostly helmets), the pieces are cut and sized so they fit cleanly in the printable area of one page. How do you deal with, for example, the long strips that make up the "gun section" (pictured in first post)?
In my experience when you print, the program leaves a blank border around each page, so you lose inches worth of information. And on top of this it is INCREDIBLY hard to realign the pieces when they span numerous pages.

To help with lining up really long pieces over several bits of paper, you could use Designer to measure the actual distance between two points at either end. That would give you some overall measurements. And if it's a large single piece, you could probably get some other measurements to triangulate for accuracy?
