Okay, the first post has been updated with a "shipping status" section where I will move members when their orders have been packed and then shipped. As of now, six members have orders packed up and they will ship out tomorrow. Lucky six!

As for the rest that include wood grips (a LOT of you ordered them) I'm still working on a fix or a workaround for the drill press. I'd prefer to not do them with a hand drill since it's not as accurate and takes longer. I have yet to find another press to use, so I'll probably need to fix it or find a proper bit that will make the right size hole even if it isn't entering completely straight. Thus far nothing in my tool kit does the job so I need to go hunting for an odd size bit that will work.

If there are any members who ordered wood grips and have an immediate need to get their kit ASAP (ie preparing for a con, just can't wait any longer), I'm offer a $5 refund to anyone who wants me to send them the kit with grips without holes for you to drill on your own. The template in the PDF will show you exactly where they need to go and the grips will already be cut to size and sanded down so the holes are all they'll need.

To be honest, this will make it easier for me as well so it's a win-win, really. As of now there are 17 sets of wood grips for me to cut/sand/drill which breaks down to 102 total strips (204 holes to drill). I signed up for it so I don't want to twist anyone's arms but like I said, it's an easy way to make $5!

I've a fairly well equipped workshop here and am more than capable of drilling the holes accurately myself.

Couldn't remember if I ordered wooden or not, was going to say you could skip the holes on mine if I did but I see it is already packed. Sorry to hear all of your troubles with this run man. Looking forward to getting my kit but if needed I can wait.

Yeah, yours shipped out today along with 5 other orders. The next group to ship out will be anyone who is okay with no holes in their grips. I'll wait until Monday to let some more people chime in on that front.

Refunds already sent to drwholittle, paulidale and Womble. Anyone else interested, send me an email or message on here by Monday, May 4. All others will still get the holes drilled in theirs once I figure out what I'm doing with it!

Okay, all 'no holes' requests are in and refunds have been issued. If anyone else wants to forgo pre-drilled holes for their grips, let me know before the end of the day. I'll be packing up and sending more out this week based on who's in on this and the rest will follow once I sort out the drilling issues.

I will! Still unsure about the feasibility of future runs since Shapeways isn't reliable like it used to be. Maybe things will improve over there and re-instate my confidence in them but as of now, if things don't improve (or if I can't find another source for 3d printing in the same price range), I'll probably not be able to offer any more runs of kits like this.

Three more orders packed up and ready to ship tomorrow. Almost half way through them at this point, the rest needing grips with the holes pre-drilled. I may have found a solution but I'm waiting to hear back from a friend if they still have their press.

I'm amazed how much detailing there is on this. It will be a while before I have time for painting but you guys are in for a treat.

Unfortunately, I don't have any extra kits. They're 3d printed to order in a run format so I've already taken the orders from members, had them printed in batch, and gotten all the kits. There may be a future run but the 3d printing service I've used in the past has lost their reliability and I'm not planning to use them anymore.
 
Here's hoping! Been a while since I tackled a painting project like this, so I'm a bit rusty. It should be good, and I'll definitely post pix!
