Usually between a week and two weeks, depending on time in customs. What I can do is wait to send it until you'll be sure you can receive it, if sending it out when the rest are ready is cutting it too close.

Hey everyone,
This should be the last update related to the grip production. I was unable to secure the additional materials before I left for vacation but I stopped by the craft store today and they had an abundance so I'll have more than enough to make the remaining grips and am aiming to send out the rest of the kits this week! For the millionth time, I'm extremely sorry for all the delays along the way. You all should have had these kits a long time ago and I feel like I really dropped the ball, regardless of some factors being out of my hands! Your patience along the way has been saintly and I very much appreciate the fact that I didn't receive any angry hate mail
I'll post again when I send the first set out and will continue to do so, as well as mark the members/orders in the first post as sent, as they go out.

I think the main reason you didn't receive any hate mail is because you were being open and honest about what was happening which as you saw was really appreciated.
i think i speak for everyone here but thanks for being so devoted to getting these made for everyone.

Okay, there was one final delay - totally my bad.
I had to get a bunch of trigger rings reprinted because they were missing from the original order and unfortunately they weren't part of the 'complimentary' reprint along with the other parts that Shapeways goofed up and I didnt realize until after I put that order in that I needed them. I was so concerned about the grips that it slipped my mind until I was putting together orders to send out. The order for them should be shipping to me within the next day or so (in production right now) which means sometime next week I should be getting them and THEN I can finally ship out the rest of the kits.
Again, sorry about all the delays along the way. SW was the source of most of them but I definitely dropped the ball on a few instances, so sincerest apologies!

Yes, the spare triggers are finished printing and have been sent out.
Re the painted sonics, the main issue was that I couldn't get enough people interested to drop the costs enough to get anyone interested lol - if that makes sense.

Update, most of the kits are packed up, just a few more to go. I should be sending them out this upcoming week a few each day to spread out the shipping costs. Money has been really tight and after reviewing the numbers, I actually lost a bit on this run from all the reprints that Shapeways didn't cover and extra costs associated with screwing up the wood grips the first time around. That's not your fault, I know, just being transparent.
Again, sorry for all the delays. I know I keep apologizing but I do feel bad that I wasn't prepared to fulfill this run in a timely manner. After I returned from vacation mid-July (which honestly was a favor to my girlfriend to help her with her grandparents and aunt), I had no projects coming in so I was busting my ass to get new ones. I FINALLY got some bites in the last few weeks so I'm back on track now, just waiting on my first decent paycheck in a long time.
I appreciate everyone's patience and understanding.

Sadly nothing yet. Doing freelance work means I don't see regular checks coming in and when they do, they are unpredictable. The only check I received from my 3d work since the last update went straight to bills and my girlfriend has been footing the groceries as of late. I'll have a more sizable check coming in from 3d work at the end of the month and another animation project I'm working on now that should be done by the end of the month that I've attempted to secure a deposit on. Once I get either of those payments, I will be able to start sending the kits out.
Again, sorry for everything guys. I didn't predict all the hurdles this time around (I assumed it would be smoother than the first run I did a few years ago) and it bit me in the ass.

Please extend my sincerest apologies to your friend. My check from 3d work is late and I'm still waiting on a second check from a client that was supposed to send it a week ago. I emailed him today to get an update. The second that check gets deposited, the labels will be printed and the kits sent asap.
