No extras. I did get one extra printed for me but the tail section broke and to avoid further delays, I decided not to fuss with customer service to get that extra printed. I should have some extra parts which I can offer to anyone who has something go wrong during their finishing process but originally was planning to hold on to them for a member that wanted one but couldn't get in on this last run, so they get priority if they decide and will just need to get the tail section printed separately, or work with the broken one.

I can't believe Shapeways had give from treasured source to 'whatever, man'. Your frustration has to be through the roof. Thanks for dealing with this untenable situation for all of us.

Haha, I gotcha. Yeah, it was unfortunate but a win is a win in the end. I'm just glad they decided to play ball eventually, the real frustration would have been if they hadn't!

Hey everyone, the additional 3d printed parts have arrived and have been checked and we should be go. I apologize again for the delays and I know many of you are anxious to get your kits!
I'm planning to start by sending out those that ordered a kit with 3d printed grips or without them entirely since there have been some issues with my drill press. Apologies to those that ordered wooden grips but I can't seem to get the bit to enter in straight (it wobbles slightly) so I may have to work on a fix, do it by hand or use a friend's and I'm unsure how long that will take to get those done - it shouldn't be too long but they will be sent out after the others.
In the mean time, the rest of the kits will be sent out during this upcoming week, and this includes anyone who ordered just stands as well. I'll send out a few each day so I can spend the time and dedicate ample attention to each to ensure everything is there, it's well packed and each person is getting exactly what they ordered.
If you have any questions about your order in particular, feel free to ask, but the above should give you a good indication of when yours will be mailed.

So glad everything finally arrived. Must be a tremendous relief for you.
Don't mind waiting for the wooden grips, I'd rather you take your time, so that it comes out right.
I've been to busy for hobbies recently anyway.

I just realized that I forgot to order additional 'trigger rings'
They were lost in the initial order but they didn't apply to the parts that SW decided to reprint and I forgot to include them for the reprint so the first set of orders will still go out on time but there may be a bit longer delay on the kits with wooden grips. That one was my bad, sorry guys!

Hard to say at this point, if SW can reprint the trigger rings quickly then I should get them in a week but it'll depend on them. Why, is there an address change in your future?

No, no address change. Just didn't plan on Shapeways being so lax and slow that there's more the very real possibility that I'll have to construct a facsimile in time for Comicpalooza in mid May.

Ah, gotcha. Well I'll send out as many as I can with the trigger rings I have on hand. I think I'm missing 6 or 7 as of now so I won't have to wait for them to arrive before I start sending out the second set of kits. Since you were one of the first to show interest I'll see what I can do to make sure you'll be among the first orders to go out with the second batch.
