I got my AR last month, had to sell most of my 25th Gi Joe collection to get the Assault Rifle, wish I sold them last year to get the Arc Generator instead. Well worth it, and these joes were just sitting in storage, rather give them a home where people could enjoy them. Also used the Weta dollars for the D9 book. Book is so damn amazing, must have.
But I finally got around to mount the rifle last week. I actually bought a 4 pack of screws with those metal brackets at Walmart for about $2.00.
I suck so much at home improvement stuff I nearly drilled the first metal anchor through the sheetrock and was useless cause it was all loose. Luckly I had a extra metal anchor I found through out my house.
The last two anchors for the front of the gun, came out perfect, solid fit, the first two anchors for the rear of the, aren't so solid, but sill hold up.
I used the white stencil graph from the D9 book and a black cardboard sheet from walmart for the back, to hang next the gun, I think it looks great.
But the Assault Rifle is a the most awesomeness gun in the universe, the hell with Star Wars, Star Trek, Avatar, weapons. D9 is the coolest!!!
small 3/4 inch crack on right side of the rifle above the trigger. Very nice display Rarest RX you just need the Gas Projector somewhere on that wall to complete the trio.
