District 9 : Assault rifle

Looks great! Love the gradient paint job on the little canisters.

I assume it came with wall brackets?

Looks like I need to get more drywall anchors.

have you seen my profile pic? :ninja
No I hadn't. :lol

I assume it came with wall brackets?
Yes it did. Slightly sturdier than the AG and GP brackets, but still pretty flimsy. They'd be adequate if you could screw them into studs but I don't think I'd trust them on drywall, even with the included anchors.

Oh, I wouldn't use the puny ones that came with it, I used the heavy duty ones that can hold 50lbs each.

Worked fine for the AG, except I think the brackets "droop" a little bit.

Just shot a prawn and got these...:D Overall, the piece came out great. It feels more finished and solid than the AG. Good weight too.

thx are you getting the paint brushes out on your new gun?

hint hint ;)

Mine arrived today, I got #006/300, I can't stop trying to trade this thing for cat food!

The box actually showed up in great shape, I was worried that the spines/canisters would be all busted off.

Nope!

It's a fantastic piece. I've been waiting months and months and there is zero disappointment!

Kudos to the WETA guys and whoever came up with the packaging. Traveled across the entire United States with nary a scratch!
