I have to say the more I learn about this the more I do want to see it. It was so poorly advertised early on it seemed like a massive Alien Nation rip off, but from what I've heard now it's not at all like it. Also, that Arc Gun is apparently REALLY nasty. It seems to be some kind of electrical cannon that makes it's targets explode in a surprisingly gory manner.

After I watched the Teaser and it reminded me too much of Alien Nation I didn't even watch the Trailer. But now thanks to your post I did and this looks really promising (although I hope that the documentary style won't result in "supershaky cam", because I just can't watch that on the big screen :sick).
By the way, there seem to be more Alien weapons in the movie. Watch the Trailer and take a close look at 1:37 and 2:03.

Try playing the game on the Official site as an alien, you get to use all kinds of weapons.
