Disgusting Creatures...Show off your Jawa!

I like The ANH Brown Better. And yes the Box idea is what I am doing so I can add a lighting system to it. Will look like a Big Case.

So do I, and it's Dathcha I'm hoping to replicate so it's this color I'll be going with. It's funny that even in the Special Edition of ANH, both of these colors are present. Whoever was responsible for the Hi-Def restoration at Lowry Digital Images didn't keep a consistent eye out for the color here, and elsewhere as well...!

I'm looking forward to seeing your display! :thumbsup

If I had to do it again I would go with the color on the left

Thanks for the vote. :)

That Display maybe a little while as I look to see what I need and how I want to do it I need to find a light to go inside of it maybe a dome soft lighting.I found the wood I will use just need to get that it will be just wide to fit both jawas.
Right now I need to sell the 3rd holster.

I guess you Googled it right ? Still have to go after the right size boards to finish that display may do it Wed I think. Then look for the trim, I will stain it and varnish it the outside portion that is. I already painted the floor they stand on to look like sandy dirt. Also made a base for the one to stand on just need to make it look like a rocky ground.
The wife will not let me put real sand on it in the house (LOL) maybe when the paint is still wet put the sand on it then Hummmmmm.

I did find the best thing to dirty up the jawas and Tuskens get some cement that is used to build brick houses and smack it on where you want it is powder and looks sandy, dirty looks Great !

Haven't heard that one before but I'll have to check it out! :)

I'm entertaining the thought of dyeing my other RL blanket with the same dark brown color as my previous effort and maybe doing two jawas of my own as well. I've only had the idea up until now of just the one "chief" jawa but hey, the more the merrier! :lol

That's the one I'll be going with. I'm hoping the one on the right will come out the same shade when I re-dye it. I may actually have enough fabric in just the one brown blanket to ultimately do two jawas but I'm kind of doubting it...

I'm digging the darker brown fabric on the left.

I will post pictures of the jawas once I put the cement powder on them, I did it to my Tusken and worked out Fantastic.

this is my Jawa! unfortunatly i don´t have any newer pictures, these were taken two years ago...

Very cool replica RoCKo. :thumbsup

In the spirit of fairness so it doesn't seem that I'm trolling someone else's thread, here are a few pics of my work in progress.

Initially, here is a rendition of a prototype I started some years back. This one is pictured with the ubiquitous Enfield bandolier. Admittedly not satisfactory and this has ultimately been dismantled in anticipation of a better display to come... :

And here are a few pics of some of the detail parts that will go on the updated Jawa. The ion blaster holster and powder flask:

An original Boer War bandolier, now over 100 years old...

And an original, metal Microtorch with an interesting history, atleast for me:

After I won this on ebay some years back, I submitted payment for it in the usual way. After several weeks, I received a message from Paypal stating that the payment was uncollected. I tried contacting the seller to no avail several times and I eventually reclaimed the payment and I ultimately got this item for free. After trying to follow up with the seller, there's no record of his/her existence on ebay whatsoever so it seems I got this item through "the force"... :confused:lol

You know that will look Great with the original Boer War bandolier & holster on it ,
The bandoliers I used are the British P-1903 Original Pre WWI 5 pocket and they where in bad condition and I cleaned them up, one I have to make a whole new belt portion and used the original 5 pockets & buckels. Can you tell what one Jawa has it on.
