Drats, my Target sold out before I could get my hands on a hammer. Have to resort to the ole interwebs I guess.

I might have gone with a thinner leather.. and probably quickly laser cut it up..

but that turned out great!..

Welp, I know where I'm going after work.

Thank you for this! I've been thinking of having Mjolnir chilling in the corner of my room, but I was SERIOUSLY over-thinking how to pull it off. This is great! I can hardly wait to get started!
 
Glad I found this thread finally. Just got back from our local Target and picked up the LAST Mjolnir that they had. :) Now to see what I can do about getting a disc for CA's shield.
 
I ended up getting the last one right before they closed, last night. I had to go to two Targets, but I got one. I lucked out and have a Tandy's here in town, or at least according to Google I do. I'll need paint, a new handle, leather, and the chord. I'm thinking of starting my own build thread. :)
 
Incase anybody is looking for it, Target is selling the adult sized hammer on clearance on their website for $7.55

I just bought two of them before they are gone. I find it odd that the adult hammer is cheaper than the kid's one.
 
aaargh, they don't ship internationally!
anyone fancy picking me up a couple and I'll pay for shipping to the UK + a little extra for your trouble....? (plus the cost of the hammers, obviously!)

I'd pick you up a few, but unfortunately I nabbed the last one at my local Target, and the other one about twenty minutes away is all out. :/
 
FYI, Target has some of their Halloween accessories and props (including the Mjolnir) on sale at 15% off. Not a lot of savings, but every bit counts, right? Now to find my receipt for the one I bought on Friday. :(
 
Sweet! Made it to the other Target in town and grabbed the last hammer! Granted, it was at $10 but I'm not going to quibble over a buck fifty. :p

I also lucked out and found a new Sam's Identity Disc from Tron: Legacy in the discount store next door! The only one in store I might add. Went 2 for 2 on that this weekend.

It was a good weekend... :)
