Denuo Novo (only) New and existing products

I purchased a TK helmet a while back, after talking to a Denuo Novo guy at Celebration London. They sent me a tracking code and a link to Whistl tracking shortly after placing my order, but that code never worked. After reaching out they sent me a link to the epgtracking page, which does show my shipment. But it hasn't moved i two weeks. Is tracking through them always spotty? Any guesses on how long shipping to Europe usually takes?

The tracking site is as sparse as possible, I'm wondering how duties works through them. I'm expecting to get a bill for taxes, etc. Do they contact you before hand? Or does a delivery guy just show up demanding cash?

I got a good vibe ast Celebration, but the tracking process so far has given me anything but.

I received a shipping notice email from Denuo Novo on June 7th for the Sabine helmet. The tracking has said "Label Created" since then. I assume they were getting labels ready in anticipation of product arriving from overseas. Maybe there was some kind of delay in the items being imported. I seriously doubt they sent out shipping notices if there was no reason for them to think the items would be ready to ship soon. I can't think of any reason to do that.

Just got my Rey Quarterstaff. It's not bad,... except for the warped lightsaber end. Everything else appears fine. Curious if this curved end is similar to what others have.

I've already reached out for a hopeful replacement.

Wow this is pretty bad. Wonder how this even makes it out of the factory? Don't they have any sort of QC? Hope you get a replacement quickly.

I received an email this morning from DN showing the blank X-Wing helmet comes with 5 sheets of decals. I wonder if they'll ever sell them separately.

I printed up some of these on my Cricut printer recently to fix the blank area on the Disney Park helmet that is similar to Bigg's.

It's good that they added more designs that are not the ones from the common helmets. etsy and ebay have lots of x wing helmet decals for sale.

I asked about the status of the Sabine helmet. I received a shipping notice for it on June 7th, but the tracking still says "Label Created".

Below is the response from Denuo Novo. It's possible the same thing happened with other products as well.

The team has informed me that the helmet is not yet in stock. The shipping label was simply created. The shipping system automatically closed out your order and sent tracking when the label was created which the team was not aware would happen. We expect to have the preorders and backorders for this item all shipped out by the end of August of this year. We hope to have a large batch shipped within the next few weeks and your order should be included in that batch.

I hope they do, would love to use water slides instead of stickers for a helmet.

My TK helmet seems to have gotten lost in transit. Tracking hasn't updated in over a month. Denuo doesn't know what's going on but they are shipping a new one my way asap

I wouldn't be at all surprised to find out it is in some FedEx or Post Office employee's home. I've always hated that with most of the prop making companies they ship product out in an outer box that says exactly what is in it. I'm surprised more product doesn't disappear in transit.

Well, with the amount of times packages get scanned along the way you'd say it would be very easy to pin point where it disappeared.
But I agree, I like the idea of less packaging, but shipping stuff in clearly marked product boxes is asking for trouble.

It's an increasing problem, even with unmarked boxes, like Amazon.

First 10 years of using Amazon: zero packages lost.
Last 2 years: at least a dozen.

More online shopping > more shipping > more carrier employees > less consequences for criminal behavior > increased temptation to steal > increased theft.

Received the replacement Praetorian Guard after ordering nearly 3 months ago.

For the most part it is in better condition than the one I originally received. It still has some of the clear coat dust in some grooves but nowhere near as bad as the first helmet.

When Anovos originally planned on making the helmet, the face plate was supposed to be removable. As we already know, the Denuo Novo faceplate is permanently attached. However, I'm pretty sure it's still cast as a separate piece. The bottom of the faceplate on my replacement helmet does not line up with the back and there is a noticeable gap where the seam is. The faceplate is about 1/8" lower. The helmet I originally got was much more flush on the bottom edge.

There is a part on the back that has a lot of pin holes in the casting that weren't filled in. To the left of that there are a couple of other paint imperfections.

Sorry to hear. If it were me, I'd request a refund. I guess it just depends on how much you want the helmet. I had a similar issue with multiple Gentle Giants Legends busts having issues. They'd send the second one with the same issue as the first. Finally, I just told them I wanted my money back. It was a shame because they looked great in the promo pics and I really wanted them.
