Are any of you at the SDCC and could you take some detail shots of the helmet?

Maybe Gabriel will also do a Booth review at DenuoNovo, the eFX video was really great anyway.

I was excited to see the Death Trooper helmet looks pretty good. I was hoping he was going to show it off a bit more. I have had that one on pre-order since their Star Wars Day sale. I was hoping to have it in my possession by now.

The Bo Katan does look a lot better from the last convention coverage. I wished he would've focused on that one more too. The EFX version looks awesome.
 
Random post as I just ran into this thread...

Old news to the regulars... But DN, finally fulfilled my anovos order from years back... Honestly had already written it off...

Certainly, bought some cred with me... Seems like EFX is in good graces again (thankfully I dodged that bullet way back when)... been a while since I picked up any SW stuff, might have to look and see when tickles my fancy.

In my opinion, the paint job from the Bo-Katan helmet still doesn't look really good on closer inspection. It looks worlds better than the first "accident" First Look Paint but still not really great. The details sometimes look very "blurred". I am currently watching this helmet so closely because I pre-ordered it. Let's see how that develops, it's supposed to be delivered soon. Maybe I'll come back to DN's offer and exchange my order or I'll sell it again directly.

The look and feel of the EFX Bo-Katan is what I like the most at the moment. Thanks to Gabe's FirstLook video, I pre-ordered it too :lol: !
 
After hearing Mark say they're looking to put out a Death Trooper Specialist helmet with lights, I sent an email to see if maybe I can swap my current Death Trooper pre-order for the Shore Trooper helmet and will then decide on the Specialist helmet once I see the prototype. No idea if they'll go along with it, but the Death Trooper and the Shore Trooper are the same price, so I can't imagine why they wouldn't.
 
Well I thought I would share my experience this far regarding my ordeal with this company (and specifically their international shipping company), as a bit of a warning for those of us who do not live in the US of A.

I ordered an "in stock" shore trooper helmet on the 14th of May, which was subsequently shipped out 2 or three weeks later. They ship via epost global for international orders, and actually only get picked up 2 or three weeks after their initial "shipped out" notification. My helmet switched carriers to DAI Post at some point along it's journey to Australia. It arrived in Sydney customs on the 23rd of June. And that's where things go pear shaped. Tracking states it's stopped due to "customs delay". I was fully aware that customs duty would need to be paid, as the helmet is over the duty free threshold of my country. However I've received no customs notice this far. After contacting DAI Post on the 26/5/2023 I supplied the items invoice, description, and screenshot of my card transaction as proof of the items taxable duty. I was requested by DAI Post to pay customs clearance fees weeks ago, which I did and thought this would allow things to move forward. However weeks have gone by and they only can say that "they are waiting for customs to get back to them". I have been in constant contact with the shipping company for the past 6 weeks since it was held with customs with little to no progress. It sincerely feels like they do not know how to clear a package.

Also to note I was given an Australia post tracking number on the 27/5/2023 to say they have it. But after lodging an enquiry to find out if it is still in customs, they simply responded that the package is lost. I've also since forwarded this information to Denuo Novo but have not received a reply. I contacted customs to find out what was going on and they too say they have no such package in their system. So now I'm stuffed and confused. I was hoping to order a couple more items in the future, but this has left a very bad taste in my mouth.

My only recourse is to do a charge back, however I'm not sure I'm able too, and would never want to do so unless it's a complete last resort.

Has anyone else ordered from them and had such trouble?

Sometimes there are issues getting packages through customs. A Facebook group had a package of autographed photos and plaques stuck in customs for a very long time. The sender has no control of this. It's possible the item is just stuck in a customs warehouse or it may have been stolen. I don't know how long it needs to be stuck/missing before Denuo Novo will take some action. Eventually the box of autographed photos and plaques did make it through.

I do understand this, and that's why I have been waiting patiently the last 6 or so weeks. I have since (last week) received other packages that required duty to be paid and customs clearance to be processed without any hiccups at all. So this is certainly not normal. After contacting Australia post, who notified me that the package is "lost", and customs stating they have no such package in their "system". I'm obviously becoming quite concerned. Either it's segregated to a shipment that is not included in customs "system" so to speak and their chosen carrier is excessively slow to remedy the issue.. or it is indeed lost. Regardless of the actual delay, Denuo Novo seem to remain silent on the issue and it certainly appears as though they do not care about following things up. It's approaching three months since my order of an in stock item and clearly no end in sight IF it gets delivered at all.
 
I'm having a similar issue.

I ordered a TK that was in stock almost 3 months ago. They "shipped it" but after two-ish weeks my tracking code still showed "no info available". I contacted them, they gave me a new code. A few weeks later there was no change in the tracking status (I don't think it went past "data received", so I contacted them, they notified me that the package was lost in transit, and they would ship out a new one ASAP.
Got a new code, weeks of nothing, then it seemed to start to move. It arrived in the Netherlands (where I live) two weeks ago, it states that it was handed over to the local postal service and... nothing since.
The local postal service doesn't know the intention tracking number, has no record of anything on its way to me.
It's been months, and I have no clue where this helmet is, right now :/

Since there is tracking info this time around, the only thin I can imagine is that it is stuck in customs, and I need to pay taxes before it's released, but they have not sent me any info on payment. Which usually happens before a package even makes it to the Netherlands.
Not sure what's going on.

The ePost Global shipping company is very frustrating in its tracking info, and as stated before, it seems stuff that gets shipped today, only gets picked up weeks later.

Not sure when you contacted DN, but keep in mind San Diego Comic Con just wrapped up, so they've probably been focusing a lot of attention there.

I thought about ordering something but had a change of heart after getting done by Anovos why on earth is anyone ordering from these guys you all have big balls or money to burn after waiting 2 years for an in stock Mando Helmet that I never received then to find out Anovos was holding out until these guy's took over what an absolute slap in the face out of pure protest I will never spend a red cent on a repackaged Anovos brand good luck to all of you they have some amazing items but do me dirty once sorry but I'm not going back for a second time .

Denuo Novo is a subsidiary of Neca who also own Rubies II, Kidrobot, Joseph Enterprises, Wizkids, and LootCrate. It isn't Anovos repackaged. Denuo Novo took over the Anovos backorders and designs. I don't know if this was a requirement to get the license or if they did it to have a head start on approved product designs and orders to fill.

Many of us have had our Anovos backorders filled by Denuo Novo. There are still a few more Anovos items to be produced by Denuo Novo, but they have made great progress. I have received 11 helmets and several accessories from Denuo Novo.

I know Anovos delivered for several years too. I received quite a few items from them as well. However I feel Denuo Novo has better financial backing and have learned from the mistakes that Anovos made which led to their downward spiral. I don't have any reason to doubt Denuo Novo will continue to produce and deliver as long as there is enough demand for their products.
 
I was extremely leery of Denuo Novo after having three unfulfilled items spanning over four years from Anovos and numerous other issues with them. Then I saw the video that tells about DN being under the Neca umbrella and a whole different company from Anovos. They also gave me credit on an item that had not been produced yet that I had ordered about six years ago from Anovos. Not only did I get the credit, but they threw in an extra $50 on top of it. I ordered an Imperial Royal Guard helmet with the credit (+ some of my own funds) and DN gave me free shipping. It arrived a few weeks later. There was also a little bit of a screw up from DN and I received an additional Imperial Guard helmet and when I contacted them about it, they made me a deal I could not pass up on.

So far I am very happy with Denuo Novo. I currently have a Death Trooper helmet that's a bit behind schedule, but nothing Earth-shattering. I have had the same delays with Sideshow, Gentle Giant and Hasbro as well.
 
Your not selling me guy's , I wish them all the best and hope they thrive so no one gets burned like Anovos , any idea on the Star Trek orders ?
As for a 4 year wait and $50 off don't really think that's worth it and 11 helmets clearly money to burn I'm jealous LOL I wouldn't even have room for that many helmets .

I did a chargeback and received a full refund from my bank as Anovos wouldn't even reply to my emails so for me lesson learned my money will stay in the bank I'm just sceptical with the whole name change that's still similar stupid and everyone's horror stories and I'm sure I'm not the only one that's very cautious and I only purchased 1 helmet .
