The range finder can be in up position or down. Both positions are shown in the photos. The Sabine helmet looks good. Curious though if the rangefinder moves. I have the DN Jango helmet and I was a little bothered that the rangefinder did not move up and down. It may seem a little petty but if they can add that feature to the Black Series helmet it shouldn't be that hard to add it to a high end prop.

Denuo Novo was founded in 2021. They took over the Anovos preorders and product designs.Huh...that's not too far from me so that Rubies is right there has my interest piqued. I didn't even think they were around any longer.

Because the original Jango helmet (the screen used one) had it fixed on the up position. The SU helmet is built with no possibilites for the stalk to rotate.Completely agree. Why on earth would Denuo Novo fix the range finder on the Jango helmet in the upright position so that it cannot be adjusted to the downward "scanning" position? Surely it's not a difficult design problem to solve.
I thought it did move, so I pulled up the scene and it does move while Jango is targeting Obi-Wan. Not sure if it's the only time in the movie, but this one stuck out in my mind. Guessing they CGI'd this. I remember someone on the board here was lucky enough to be part of a team that put the Jango costume together. Don't remember who that was, but guessing he'd have some good memories of that helmet!Because the original Jango helmet (the screen used one) had it fixed on the up position. Okay, that makes sense. Personally I would prefer to have a range finder that moves because even though it's only shown in CGI, I would like to presume that Jango has the common sense to own a helmet with a functional range finder.Because the original Jango helmet (the screen used one) had it fixed on the up position. I agree. However keep in mind the product needs to be approved. I doubt it would be rejected if Denuo Novo made the range finder moveable, but sometimes the manufacturer is required to do things that don't make sense to the customers for the product to receive approval.Denuo Novo always claims they create costumes and not replicas, so making a helmet with an immovable range finder just because the actual prop was that way comes off more as a replica manufacturer. The stalk should rotate.
That code came in handy!
