Is it me, or is the shoulder not correct.... The round piece needs to be under the shoulder ??

Yes, hot glue. And the pep templates have been altered and adapted for foam, so there is no folding necessary. Check out TheHeroTutorials channel on YouTube to see how it is all done

Why is everyone using 6mm foam? I use 3mm and it works great, and it is cheaper.

It is hard to compare the two... it is like saying would you rather own a Camaro or a Lamborghini. Sure the Lamborghini is a better car but it is also expensive to own and maintain... a little out of the price range for some people. The Camaro is also a nice car and works better for some people.

Same goes with a pep build using cardstock, fiberglass, and bondo vs using foam. The cardstock build is a lot harder and involves much more work and perhaps even some resources that some people don't have access to but it can look just like the suit came right out of the movie screen.

The foam builds are nice to and look great in pictures... they are easier to build but just not quite as realistic as a well built cardstock project.

Hello i am new to the forum and inspired by everyone's awesome work. I am wanting to start on this tonight with the MK6 but i have a question. Was all the edges done with a 45degree angle cuts? Especially for the chest piece

You have to look at the reference pictures and to the templates/pep files to compare and use your feeling to do do that bro. And if you do it the wrong way just remove the glue and repeat the work.:love

I agree with you Dark and at this moment i am trying to find a way to modify thir situation. Doing some tests in some big IM Mark III pieces that i used the wrong scale. Covering the seems, etc.

Wow Roy ! Your suit looks awesome !
You did a really great paint job on it, i wouldn't be able to say it was made out of foam.
How did you proceed to get such a clean metalic look?
You make me want to sell my suit so i can build a whole new one x)
