A couple of questions:

How much flex does this have?
Is this the color rubber it was casted in or has it had a primer or another color painted on it?

There is practically no flex at all. It should probably be considered more of a resin casting than rubber actually. On the coating, I purchased it this way. There may be a very thin dusting of a primer vs some 'patina' on the surface of the resin but I can't tell for sure. It most definitely would need a good flat primer coat prior to painting.
