Locktite is for something you never want to take apart ever again...I used it and nothing has ever let go ...EVER !!! :lol :lol
thats a really big table diaramaAt 1:43 scale the DeAg Falcon is close enough to the Bandai 1/48 Snow Speeder and X-Wing to make a really cool Hoth Ice Hanger diorama

Okay, so who's already planning out a diorama with this beauty? The Hoth ice hanger? Bespin landing platform? Death Star hanger bay? Someplace new from Ep. 7?
Mine will probably be on the Death Star hanger bay...without walls, and perhaps modified without the octagonal "hole" in the floor under the cockpit.
To keep the dust off it, I will most likely get a acrylic cover manufactured for it.
But I'm open to changing my mind if I see any other ideas float around here. An asteroid base would be another idea.

Can I steal this idea for my landed Deago ??. I don't want to do a full "Diaroma" as I have a huge pile of toys for that but I love this idea of the original death star Falcon hanger floor only with the "hole" for a display base. With an acrylic cover that would look awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With a wall mount, I thought I could panel a section of wall to be a section of Star Destroyer.

You do realize the wall mount will set the Falcon away from the wall and at an angle about 45 degrees? I wouldn't be flush against the wall!
Well the mount free with the magazine looks like a bog standard tv mount , or screen mount but really you could build a custom mount , taking the destroyer as an example , detail a sheet of mdf, perspex on a frame that is hinged , the falcon could be bolted through this wall so it's flush, then push the hinged wall back against the wall .......a bit of lateral thinking ........also I don't think this mount is very good as it breaks the illusion of the scale of the kit, I think anyone,s dioramas we will see as outstanding will not use this mount .You do realize the wall mount will set the Falcon away from the wall and at an angle about 45 degrees? Originally, well at least for the Hasbro conversion I was working on before I started up the DeAgo subscription, I was going to do a MR type display but with Death Star tiles instead of mirror (and have it a little higher up than how close the MR one is to its mirror). There is a guy here on the RPF that makes nice tiles....

You mean like this!
Even bought the same tiles you are referring to.
