I never understood that... what's the big deal about putting a U everywhere? I mean isn't COLOR and COLOUR the same thing or is it just a more pompous way of saying the same thing?

It's all Noah Webster's fault, he decided he was going to change spellings that he didn't like! Since his dictionary became the most popular in the US thats why you use his variants.

To be honest, the lack of u in words and swapping an s for a z does not bother me at all when I read an American published book or magazine (I have many, American history and politics are two of my interests), but defense instead of defence irks me. I always read that in my head in the French pronunciation!

Back on topic, - After assembling what I could of the parts today, and laying them out, it looks like it will be ramp assembly time in around three weeks. With the bottom hull geting ever so close to completion it really feels like I'm getting somewhere now!

Has anyone seen anything more on which issue the retooled cockpit will be included in?

Can't wait to see the ramp in action... will be so COOL! As for when the retooled cockpit comes out, I think the redesigned nose cone will be sent out probably in 10-12 month installment of the kit.... so somewhere between issue 41 and 48 for the cockpit... they are also fixing the hallway corridor hull pieces that came out in issue 2 and 3. They will be out a bit after that!

Are you a bit late in the cycle? Here in California I received 21-24 the end of July and expect 25-28 the before end of Aug and 29-32 before the end of Sept. My five finger math tells me we should be receiving 41-44 on or about the date Episode VII is released in December.

Yeah I guess I did wait a couple of months before jumping in, but I'm ahead of most. Just got 21-24 this month, 25-28 next month, 29-32 Oct, 33-36 Nov, 37-40 Dec, 41-44 Jan... you may be a couple of issues early... I know UK is about 2.5 months ahead of me (I think they just got issue 32, but then again they get their's weekly at the newstand there!).

Thanks LrdSatyr8! I am looking forward to building the ramp too! I am thinking about getting two of the new cockpit cones and then not gluing the cone ring to the cockpit passage tube, making one extra interchangeable cockpit like The Force Awakens Falcon cockpit, and picking up Tony's TFA Falcon radar dish as well, so I can switch them out and essentially get two Falcons in one!

The issue released today in the UK was 32.

Just know that a release cycle in the US is every 4 weeks (supposedly every 27 days) not once a month. So there will be 13 releases a year not 12.

Those parts were scratched using several kitparts on the 32" to match the blades used on the 5ft.
 
I got my issues 21,22,23 and 24 today and if I'm correct they should be sending the next lot start of next week. My subscription has been all over the place. I got my issues 17, 18, 19 and 20 less than two weeks ago. I hope it keeps going that way so I catch up to the latest issue.
