Deadpool - 3D Print Files/Pattern - FREE

Do you think that I can print 4 or 5 to make it look more like the original suit than a 3D printed suit? Or maybe modify it in Photoshop? Thanks and great job!.

Thanks!

I'm thinking about using my print as a base (and a template) sewing the other parts over the top of the print using the correct materials.... adding raised areas, buckles, straps, etc.

Any chance of the belt buckle file being shared? I really don't want to have to go through shape ways if I can print it myself. Just curious amazing work from everyone

I has made this face shell of deadpool but I thinks is not perfect yet. But If you guys wanna it I can put for download. (sorry bad english)

I'm new to cosplaying and 3D printing so would I need a special type of 3D printer to print on fabric or would I use a reguar old 3D printer with a particular method or technique?

I also new to this. Can anyone make a how-to list for making a project like this? Or can someone at least link to an existing guide? Help would be much appreciated.

Based on my jealousy of skill and RPF contribution I've decided to ask...
I directly made an outline of Ken's mask pattern and modified it to suit what matthewdelacruz posted plus some slight differences I noticed. I've also changed the length of it and reduced the eye size so I could have smaller holes. I've been practicing a bunch of sewing so I had chances to make a few revisions and I think the latest one, though I have not completed the sewing of, could work. I had some problems with correct neck shaping so I'm not too sure.
Am I welcome to share it here/ is it wanted? Was it stupid of me to write this?

How would giving this print a raised look work? Sewing it from a stretchy material and layering it with non stretchy leather. Wouldn't that keep the material from stretching to fit your body or is there a way to do this? I'm confused.

I have a photo of the printed fabric near the top of this page.

ALSO: Anyone know how to report a cheesy ebayer. Asked him to remove a listing and he basically told me to FO.

Are they using your pics/design? if so, and ebay is unhelpful maybe a DMCA, forcing ebay's ISP to remove images. https://nppa.org/page/5617 (I haven't used this on ebay, but I have used it on a number of cheap leather sites that have used images of my suits)

It did look like there was a this foam attached to the back of the material in the film.

Yes, and the guy is an ass about it. I would post the eBay link but that violates the rules of the RPF. I'll try the DMCA route. Thanks!

I do. I sent an improved pattern to Ken so he could decide if the pattern should be released. You'll just have to wait til then :)

Yes! and thank you! I have not had a lot of time lately but I will add that to the pattern along with a few other tweaks. My test mask pattern fits well, so I just have to take it apart and line it up over yours to see whats what.... you say you have sewn your pattern? Can you post a pic of how it looks??

Currently sewing up a new mask with red lycra! (the old test mask was mistaken for trash)

Please post some pics when you finish. I had been using red poly-cotton (t-shirt material) for all of my tests as the lycra seemed to thin... and it's cheap as hell. Just a thought.
Thanks!

Oh and Ken, I forgot to mention that I already scaled it up to match with the size of the eyes frames on your pattern

Here are pics of the mask! Note that these are on a Spider-Man face shell on a DIY mannequin which is 10% smaller than my head so the mask is a bit loose.

and here's what it could look like with the eyes (DIY eyes stuck to the mask with tape)

Any one of the sides of the lower back portion of the mask is meant to be unsewn for zipper/velcro placements so it'd be easier to put on

That's what I see. Was this pattern made to be specifically used with lycra or can we use other materials and still have it fit the same way? What the red material looks like upon close inspection is cordura. It would make sense as it's military grade meant to stop cuts and abrasion. It matches with Deadpool being ex-spec ops. And it could be EVA foam for padding, or at least some impact resistant piece. The black leather parts seem simple enough, but for the eyes and shoulders, I think it would look great to shape the leather and then harden it with some bees wax.
