DIZZYARSEThought you might be interested in another Hot Toys custom in progress... I will be making several different removable platic resin armour costumes for my son's figure, and we both loved playing the game, so that is the ispiration for his first one. If anyone has interesting pics or artwork I would appreciate the links.

When this is finished I will probably start on an Alienised, or Alienskin costume. Re-casts will be available on e-Bay for those who are interested!

Very interesting, I tried to strive for a custom DBC but found myself lacking the skillz needed to do it.

Very cool, if you plan on selling casts of the armor I may have to pick up a set, do you take commissions? I'd kill to have a custom made Boar helmet for my Wolf when it gets here...

The Nosferatoys seller on e-Bay does these... it should fit as they are all quite thin.

Yeah, I was tempted, but I decided to keep as close to the designs from the game as I could.

Got my claws now... took a long time to shape these, and couldnt get them to retract without breaking as the plastic I cast with is too brittle at that thinness.

And a plasmacaster too!!!

Anyone want one of these suits and weaponary pm me, or else I will be auctioning on e-Bay tomorrow (will post a link).

Personally, I would paint the Dreads too. I just dont think that PREDS should have blue dreads (even the Elders). If anything, Elders should have a Greyish/white/silver/black color to them.

Other than that... I like!!!

Well it was supposed to be finished today and up for auction but the washing machine broke down and I had to spend half the day sorting that out... dont you hate it when life gets in the way of your hobbies!!! I did get a little time to work on some of the wrist bomb thingy... it must have a better name than that! I should be able to finish tomorrow and put it out on e-Bay in the afternoon. Here is a pic of the bomb thingy (a little blurry, but I only hve a crap camera).


I just need to do the lid on it and I know the hinge is gonna be tricky!

I really what to make or get someone to make a Female predator hot toys style. but I think it would be a huge project, with a mix of parts from all over.

Good call, some of the model kits available look interesting, and I suppose there must be female predators... although the culture seems to be one where the males are hunter gatherers, and the females unseen at home while the boys galavant around the galaxy! Very chauvenistic society. Plus all the models show them with large breasts. I wonder if female predators would need mammaries.
