I have no idea. It came to me built with some LEDs and a battery inside. It looked to be a well done casting. The cone was turned acrylic with a brass ring. Overall I thought it was nicely done.

Very cool looking LEDs and sound setup! For some reason I thought the LEDs would be at the back on the rear cyclinder.
Here's how I have my original movie gun displayed at the moment. I have a tunic from the movie too and plan to put a larger better quality display together when I have extra funds.

Yep, I may do a TV show version. It had (3) power level indicators on the rear cylinder. It would be rather simple to setup as the BlasterCore already supports the function. The 3mm barrel LEDs would work great in that setup.

LED finally arrived. Replace the Orange Luxeon I with a Luxeon Endor Green LED. Much brighter output (161 lumens @ 700 mA) over the Orange.

I've ordered a nice Ankh for the upper right corner. I also plan on either replacing the side plate on the MkI (which was fabricated) or adding the small slit to it for better accuracy.

Working on a new eDSFG. I also have some ideas on how to make it simulate the flame. That's coming up next.... Muuuhahahahaha!

It actually does to some degree. You could put reflective film in there as well. Not sure how well it would stick.

Is that painted chrome? Very shiny.

No, that is automotive gloss black. The grips were very finicky on this one as the paint was doing some weird patterns while drying. So I sanded them and repainted. I guess you could paint it black chrome as long as the base is shiny. A buffing wheel and polishing compound can get aluminum pretty close to a chrome shine. But it's take a lot of time and elbow grease to achieve that look. It's a popular alternative to chrome plating on motorcycles with aluminum rims and accessories. I've done it on forward controls and it took hours to polish it to shine like chrome.
