Cyberpunk city diorama

As expected, that turned out completely amazing.
Thank you, Michael-san!
That is a work of art. Your restoration work is super. (y)(y)
Thank you, stievie-san! That was fun to do!
Great restoration work Katsu-san:notworthy::notworthy: ...and thank you for sharing the pictures of that FLLW house. They really respected the "Prairie Style" that FLLW was known for:cool::cool:

Thank you, joberg-san! There are several works that FLLW conducted construction in Japan. I love all the works and I will introduce them from time to time.

Beautiful restoration!

Thank you so much!

Katsu-sensei, you never cease to amaze.
I bet your daughter is both proud and very happy !

Thank you, George-san!

The machinery of that era is very robust and reliable. Actually, my daughter's other old machine like this is still working just like brand new. Those high-tempered steel screws - In fact, I had a hard time polishing them - used in this stand are not for the Phillips tip screwdriver. Which means it was manufactured before 1947. More than 75 years ago.
That is worth restoring.

Here now eating at this breakfast place down the street feom where I live, and yet have never been in here before.
On the wall they have this old type sewing machine. So of course this is the first place I think if now.

I am having very peaceful days here although the back side of this country has severe snow. I hope you all have a pleasant year.
And my workshop starts to work today. I began to shape the top board of the sewing machine. The material is (1600) 1200mm x 400mm x 30 mm ash wood. I've never used this so hardwood. It took 5 hours with my wife's help.

End of day one.

Thank you so much, my friends.
That was very stressful work.
My small work shack has not had enough space to put that size of a table, So I had to paint it in the parking space. Annoying winds and cold weather make it take a long time to be finished.

Well, I saw on the news that California is having very heavy rain and flooding. I hope it ceases soon. Many beautiful places have been ruined. I enjoyed the scenery of the place in the USA on Youtube. Especially, I and my wife have been so impressed by the beautiful scenery of Mackinac, Michigan. If there is a heaven in this real world, this is the place. My wife loves plants and flowers, so she said If I could live in this place I don't care if I was a no-salary gardener. We were also very surprised that our favorite movie 'Somewhere in time' was shot in a beautiful grand hotel in this place.

And I saw the daily life of a Japanese truck driver working in the US.
I again realized the width of the USA. An endless long straight wide highway. A huge 18-wheel truck. Gigantic truck stop. As I have seen the movie 'Crisis' on Netflix and I realized what Analyzer-san told me recently. Still, the US has many problems but is also so many worth my adore.

Well, I can get back to my model building soon.

Katsu
