Custom 'ruiner' Updated Cast On Page 7.

Well yeah, but i dont let itmelt completly, just when its starting to get soft i start grabbing, if its get melted i wait until it cools down a little then proceed to work with it, also my slow cooker has 2 functions slow and high,

Well, thank you both. I let the clay sit under a trouble light and forgot about it and when I went to get it it had started to melt out of the packaging, .

I was like... "oops, disaster averted". So, I am just going to have to get me one of these slow cooker majigs because melting the clay as you go is kind of a pain in the arse. :)

I also cover my clay in a damp towel when I am done with it for the night so the dust doesn't settle on it. I remember that from art class.

Well, I went and bought me a slow cooker... :D

Going to get the kids to bed here in a while and head into the G-raj. Oh yeah, getting my sculpting on baby...WOOOO!!!

Progress so far... more to come.

I know the feeling...really, I do.

I am taking my chillin's to the grandparents this weekend so I can get some time on this. It's making me crazy because if I start in on it I don't want to stop, so it is really difficult having my babes around because children are needy and I get interrupted like mad which in turn frustrates me then I can't concentrate.

Looking good!! That crock pot looks like it's working out for you. Can't wait to see this weekends progress! (y)

Looking good bud, been following this thread for a while a never got around to posting - i.e. I forgot lol hows the slow cooker working out for you?

My weekend plans fell through but did manage a few hours on Sunday to get a little slinging done.

Thank you guys. I am so pumped for this.

The wife is home tonight so I'll be spending my night in the g-raj, woooo!

I have so much more to do though. I will be filling out the "jaw" line, narrowing the "cheek" areas, and getting the crown formed up. I did have to order more clay though because I an down to my last block.

Soooo, what design did you end up choosing (cant find it in the text o_O)?
Its number 1 or 2 right? Right? Right? Right? :D
Actually Nicole, I decided to go with a different one that I came up with one day while playing on my phone. It's not any I asked help deciding with because I just couldn't decide .

I hope it turns out halfway like I designed it...and I hope you all approve of it because if not, well... I'll just have to recluse myself and forever live in shame.

I came with the idea of sculpting something from each one of you, because here are great designers, i hope i can do it as i imagined it, keep the updates coming

This is coming along nicely!! I like where you headed with this. Sculpting is addicting isn't it?

Why, yes it is sir. I, in fact, took the rest of the day off so I could spend some time on it.

I am changing the title of this thread again and placing the name of my sculpt in it so everyone knows what it is going to be called. (y)

I like the number 4 Bio, I agree it reminds me of the Berserker Bio, but I like the Bone incorporated into the design. I think the sculpt is coming along very nice, cant wait to see the finished product all painted and ready to hunt!

Alright people. I have spent almost my whole day on this (with a few hours break to tend to my chillin's of course). It may not look like much but I have tweeked some things here and there, added/subtracted ares, and put a few parts that why are going to be on the bio, aren't permanent yet.

I hope you like the progress. It is tedious and I am liking the outcome so far. Don't let the lighting fool you though. The crown area isn't started on quite yet so it is a little off, but I am really keeping a close eye on the symmetry of it and when I acquire more clay I will start there. I have the design ready and the targeting and hose placements will be set where the indentions are.

The lines are really starting to fall into place for me and I am utilizing my tools and reference pics to help me along the way. So here is what I have so far for the 'RUINER'.

Enjoy!

..and thank you all for the inspiration. ;)
