Custom Batmobile

Batman

New Member
I've been lurking around here for awhile and thought I'd share some of the things my wife and I are working on. This community has given us a ton of ideas.
I'll be breaking it out into 4 threads.

1st the Custom Batmobile that I've been working on since September 2013. This one
2nd my old Custom Batmobile that I've now turned into a Wonder Woman themed car for my wife.
3rd my 2014 Batman Costume
4th her 2014 Wonder Woman Costume

You'd think we didn't have jobs... we don't however have kids so these are our babies.

Here are some pics of the 'Batmobile V7' outside and around the 'Batcave'

I am also a lurker who is working on a Batmobile and a Wonder Woman car for the wife. My batmobile is a 2003 Subaru WRX and the Wonder Woman car is a 1990 Miata. I saw a 280Z on the street with a sweet body kit last month and thought it would also make a nice Batmobile.

It's only been 6 months however I finally figured out how to get the gun/missle/rocket turrets mounted up front. I have 3 configurations of guns/heat seeking missles/and rockets or I can do a combination of any of them. I've been riding around with 2 rockets and 2 guns the last couple of days. I'm just waiting for the 1st cop to pull me over.

Below are the 'heat seeking missles' lighted up at night. First with the headlights on and then just the 'missles' and the turbine lit.

I'm open to suggestions on more projects for this. Thanks for looking

It's a 2005 350z Roadster (Convertable) here's a quick pic. We have a bunch of trim and items to add as this was the Version 6 Batmobile before my wife got it as a hand me down :) Her costume/car theme colors are the newer 52 black, red, silver

This is a picture of hers on St. Patrick's Day Parade. Stars on the rims which will be trimmed red and she's now thinking a red bumper or perhaps go with a red hood as well. The graphics for hers are in process with a local person. He also wants to do all of the Batmobile graphics going forward as well. Yay for sponsorship!

Latest update is the custom center caps that I'm prototyping. They're close the final product and work much better at higher speeds to achieve the center caps staying in a static or fixed position upright.

EndGame94, Yes I did it all. At some point I'll do a write-up on the build of the turbine and rockets/missles/guns at the front. It used to get alot of attention before those. 2 weeks ago I had a woman run into a pedestrian because she was watching the car parked while she was going through the drivethru.

So I've been working on building a gatling gun and in the process of my research I came along this. How cool would this be mounted on the Batmobile V7

awesome work! batman needs his batmobile for sure! I have been fantasizing on building mine, hopefully I will get the skill and equipment/garage space for it. I would like to buy a used car with a good working engine, and remove the body, re-weld a frame and put a custom body kit on it. Maybe someday....At least I get to watch others do this amazing work.

Rocky Mountain Con is tomorrow and Halloween is right around the corner here are some pics I took last night

only thing I would suggest is wider wheels or space out your current ones to fill up the fenderwell...that would really set it off!

It's been forever since I've last had a post. 3 months of repair work after the rear passenger tire shot out of the back of the car. Gone is the flat matte finish and replaced with a semi-gloss black. Here are a couple of photos from a shoot a couple of weeks ago. Added: New turbine/gatling guns2015-03-29 19.44.22.jpg .2015-03-29 19.54.18.jpg
