Crysis 3 Nanosuit

Small update with the neck piece. I made it very solid and now I am thinking what to do.
Cut off neck from back and front and glue one big neck piece or just cast small side pieces from the neck cast and just trim front and back of the body to glue this small side pieces.

Fist neck is glued with front and back pieces. Next time I will just cut off the neck area from front and back pieces and try to glue one big neck piece without cutting like puzzle template .
Any idea how to glue latex pieces together? I used special super glue with setting time but need to make connections stronger.

Looking good...but I have a question for you: is that costume/suit made for you or for a client. I'm asking because the it seems too big for your height. The waist should be at the same level as your elbow for example (in a normal body measurement/mechanic) which is not in the pics you've taken. Same with the chest area (too low).

Hi
Yes, I made for him 3d printed costume before and he asked me for new costume. I told him I had never made a latex costume before but he decided to start this project. Unfortunately I spent also my money in this project( silicone) and will add more to finish legs ha ha .
I will use latex to make mold for legs. Will be lighter and cheaper comparing to silicone.

Small update.
Best glue is super glue for gluing latex. I use ZAP A GAP Medium CA+ and gluing only in few point to use latex between rest of the connection line between parts. Latex is the best glue for latex BUT you have to clean latex before gluing and this is very tricky. To clean latex you have to use Citric Acid mixed with water. It opens the pores of latex making it fantastic to paint and glue but not for super glue. Why? Because you use same mixture to clean Super Glue from materials and hands and I was surprised when my glue was like water. No worries , because you have to clean this area with fresh water and just paint with fresh latex and leave until will be dry . Then you can use again super glue .
I paid for one month for Stan Winston School but they deleted all content about predator costumes and have only one episode about foam latex project similar to mine. I do not have resources , dozens people and production line like them so it is stupid to try doing something similar.
I am gluing second arm now and maybe in next few days will have more photos.

Hi guys

it's been a long time since the last post but have a fresh update for you.
I decided the helmet will be from latex also. CAsting resin is not the best for this helmet. Will try one more hard helmet but looks like not enough space inside. Latex helmet is better and easy to wear.
Unfortunately, there was no one at home to fasten my costume in the back.

Hello!

I'm also building a Crysis costume, could you contact me ? My Instagram : ambroise_david

Your costume looks real nice but personally I've decided that I won't print the muscles but buy carbon muscles instead, which would create a really realistic look

Bye bye ! ;)

Small update.
I need to make a latex helmet. Will make 2 versions. One with a visor from the paintball mask visor and zip on the back. Second with the mesh visor to make air going in and out easier and also with the zip on the back. Plastic helmet is to hard to put on and small.
Need to airbrush a little more black hex again on the front neck area and repaint all silver parts. Then I can airbrush clear coat.
I will make 5 copies of this costume to get the money back for the silicone I had to buy to finish this project.
