Cowboys & Aliens - Jake Lonergan Gauntlet Weapon

Hey just found out the shirt he wears is called a "long sleeve button waffle henley"
From the trailer, he seems to wear two shirts: the thermal long johns when he first gains consciousness with the "gun" on his arm, and a collared shirt with the vest.
For the thermal, Hanes has it in off white and union red.
The collared shirt, well that's just a collared shirt.

Since I'll have this as an alternate dragoncon outfit in Atlanta in Sept, and ods are it'll be more than 80 degrees outside, I'll opt for the coolest option. ;)

I think he just goes with the collared shirt and the waist coat for the rest of the movie. He gets the jump on the bounty hunters and takes their clothes. I think what confuses people a bit is he has his sleeves rolled up on both shirts.

got my 711 cup in front of my hotel in Orlando. just got back home tonight to nj and it was pretty easy to remove (less then 4 min)

-I held the cup in my hand face down. took a rubber mallet, had one from ikea, and wack the back of it hard as heck until the plastic knobs holding it in place broken and the cup slid out from under easy peasy. gonna get another one if possible and attach it to my 1st one. cheers.

Hi Everybody,

Thought you might be interested to know that we will have the original Jake Lonergan Gauntlet Weapon props on display at our booth at SDCC, #3751. Screen used and under our care for a forthcoming replica project ;).... Looking forward to seeing you there!

Sweet! I hope someone there can post pics!

BTW, has anyone taken apart the 7-11 cup's electronic section, to see what kind of batteries it has, or if additional lights can easily be added to it?

I used a heat gun to soft the cup itself here, and then with a inward twisting motion removed them fairly easily.

My meat paw can barely fit inside it though. Once inside, I can use foam to pad it and make it snug, but getting it on is a bit of a chore.

@Gareee-here you go:

Going back to 7-11 today to get two more. One for the extra lights and extended rods and the other to trick out the wrist unit by itself.

Thanks much!
Ouch, though! It looks like there isn't an easy way to open that up. I have some perfect additional lights... those flashing ghost necklaces from Halloween.. they have 8 flashing micro leds, with a few different pattern, and they only use one of those watch batteries. Odds are I can just add those directly to the gauntlet.

I'm kinda surprised they didn't at least make replacing the batteries an option though.

I've been away visiting family- but I see the news about Factory Entertainment showing the props is already up here!

I too will be at SDCC so I'll post some pics as well. Actually can't wait to see what it looks like in person!
