Cowboys & Aliens - Jake Lonergan Gauntlet Weapon

Going back to the wanted poster, I started some work on it last night, but can't quite get the details right, like font, size, etc. I posted a thread in the paper props forum, here, but hasn't gotten much attention yet.

Edit: see below for final poster!

Anyone found a source for a denix 1860 for less than $70.

Heck. I'd be happy with a cheapo resin pistol.

You'll be hard-pressed to find one less than $68 (retail). I bit the bullet (pun intended) and received mine yesterday... It's pretty great!

Dorian Gray was selling his not too long ago, you might check with him to see if it sold or not.

If anyone is interested in a digital copy of the wanted poster, I finished it today.

If you want a B&W coy for printing, let me know

Thanks guys!

I don't remember what the original size is, but I will check when I get home tonight. How large were you looking to go?

I usually grab the largest size of anything possible. (I can drop the image onto a thumb drive, and have walmart print up a larger format version without pixellation that way.)

I would like the gray scale version as well, without the background aging. I might try to hand age some paper, and then print it out on that for a more realistic effect.

Great job!

I believe I set it at letter size (8.5x11) at 300dpi, but I will confirm later when I get home. The B&W copy is without the background, so it's perfect for printing and aging!

I plan on using a good parchment or something and then aging myself

I forgot to mention that I'd like one of the big Black and White versions as well.
This will look great mounted behind my scratch built bracer when it's finished.
Thanks again!

Sure thing! Whoever wants a copy, shoot me a PM with your email and I'll send them over when I get home this evening!

dang - I didn't even get close to Jon Favreau much less get to talk to him.

I did get some pictures of the prop in the case though if they happen to show anything not in the previous ones, and we took one fun picture of the costume all put together. Too bad those behind the scenes videos were not out a month ago...

Cris, where did you get the chaps? Or did you make them? I'm having trouble with this part.
