Thanks, Eventually the castings will be available but for now I want Crabra to enjoy the only one in existance for little bit, but I assure you I will make a few available

Hey glad to see some progress on the helmet. I feel bad not being able to claim that I built 100% of this myself; However, I think even with, hypothetically, 10 different people building this I would've liked Hyperballistik's helmet the best.
Anyways, I thought I would pick your guys brain on how to do something. My Diamond pins came in for the collar rank and I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to get just a collar or something like that to put around my neck so I could pin these suckers on?

Well,
I do have a sort of update...
I talked with Steve and he said that he and Daniel would be shipping the helmet armor together to save me on shipping cost:thumbsup
And I would have them both within 2 weeks!!:thumbsup
I guess I'll be debuting this at Baltimore Comic-Con...whenever they start selling tickets I'll be in line

Ok quick update, I finally had a chance to pull a casting from the mold to finish Crabra Commanders helmet, as you can see from the pictures I managed to get a flawless casting so prep work to complete the helmet will be minimal, It took me longer than I had expected to get the casting as I broke the mother mold shell when I was trying to pry it away from the silicone so I had to remake the outer jacket but its all good now, but now the Visor buck took a crap and got a big air pocket in it so it makes wavy visors, luckily I made a mold of the visor buck so I just need to pour a new casting and we are good in that department, so here are the casting photos next to the original master helmet, let me know what you guys thing
I put the seam line on the front of the helmet, since the visor is cut out anyways most of the sanding on the seam line will be eliminated
Nice and smooth casting

Wow, Hyper... All I can say is wow . That's fantastic work!!!! Crabra, must be very proud. Any chance when you get some free time you could take us through the process of making the visor buck? I'm planning to build a vacuform machine really soon and I would love to know this technique for my own personal projects. Thanks in advance

Maybe in the side vent area you can cut them out and mount some squirrel fans to help keep air moving.
