Limited Run CLOSED: Kylo Ren CNC aluminium ultra accurate Saber

I just finished mine up. I'm very happy with how it turned out.
I still need to source some blade plugs, but you get the idea:

Thanks to everyone involved - nice job on this project!

Stunning! What Kind of paint did you use? I'd be very interested in hearing, especially the brass undertone in the weathered areas... I just painted my pommel. Found the perfect gloss red at the hardware store.

Thinking about going matte or flat black for the body.

I come to this thread to torture myself... I did not jump on this run, but damn if I could have!

I honestly had no love for this hilt until I saw this run. It's actually so well done I love it. I hate that I missed it. Helmets off to a job exquisitely well done!

I used every kind of paint I had! :Lol For the brassy parts I tried a bunch of things and ended up using Testors copper!

Chris's Looks fantastic, debating on Doing it myself, or having my Prop House do it, I'll probably tackle it.
I mounted my clip as well and the shapeways plugs fit perfect, (KR V5 Side and top Plugs).
I removed one of the small top plates on either side of the belt mount plate so I can slide the saber off without hitting the bottom fins of the saber.

Also can some one tell me which way this piece goes, Most of the pictures from displays has it the way I have mine in, but I noticed like Chris has his in the other way, it's super easy to switch it, everything is movable, so help me............Please!!!!!
Thanks all.

Hey Al,

The 3D print version is the only example I've seen of that part flipped.
Every other example including the "Wired" saber has it the way I put mine.

Those look amazing. Also thank you for this, I just installed my clip as well and was wondering how I was going to tackle the clearance issue with the belt hanger.
