I just finished mine up. I'm very happy with how it turned out.
I still need to source some blade plugs, but you get the idea:

Thanks! My clip came with a piece for that.
May I ask where you got the clip?
Stunning! What Kind of paint did you use? I'd be very interested in hearing, especially the brass undertone in the weathered areas... I just painted my pommel. Found the perfect gloss red at the hardware store.
Thinking about going matte or flat black for the body.
Thanks! My clip came with a piece for that.
May I ask where you got the clip?

Hey Al,
The 3D print version is the only example I've seen of that part flipped.
Every other example including the "Wired" saber has it the way I put mine.
Those look amazing. Also thank you for this, I just installed my clip as well and was wondering how I was going to tackle the clearance issue with the belt hanger.Chris's Looks fantastic, debating on Doing it myself, or having my Prop House do it, I'll probably tackle it.
I mounted my clip as well and the shapeways plugs fit perfect, (KR V5 Side and top Plugs).
I removed one of the small top plates on either side of the belt mount plate so I can slide the saber off without hitting the bottom fins of the saber.
