So sorry to get back to you so long after your post!
I honestly don't have many pictures of me wearing the costume as I wasn't super happy with how I attached the armor to the under-suit. At the time I didn't have a sewing machine so for the Velcro so I basically used iron on double sided tape. Needless to say it did NOT hold that well and it caused damage to the under suit and fell apart a couple times. I'll probably be doing more full armor projects in the future so the good news is I now have a decent baseline of what I don't want to do :cool and I have a sewing machine now! :thumbsup
As for the helmet I didn't end up refinishing it. I read a lot of different posts on this site and most of them seemed like they had a difficult time with adding plastic pieces to it to make the face plate look more canon. Also, I ran out of time and wanted people to know that I am a woman while wearing the armor so it kind of helped not wearing the helmet for that aspect.
