eFX has a terrible reputation for shipping delays or just not shipping paid for products at all. Hoping that the combination of this being a 3rd party seller (better chance for a refund if the sale goes south) and the fact that there has already been an unboxing video posted by the company and wishful thinking that eFX might be getting back on track with their successful Boba Fett shipments makes me at lest somewhat hopeful that I didn't just throw away $700.
So, EFX is really the only company offering the helmet with the two tone finish. Everybody else, including Anovos, pretty much just offers it in all one tone of chrome. The D23 helmet was definitely two tone which makes me want to lean towards this one (once I see it actually delivered and in people's hands...), but I don't think I ever noticed the difference in the show. I'm sure there are multiple helmets. Did the one on screen definitely have the two tone finish like the EFX/D23 helmet?

The Anovos helmet has also the two tone finish, check the Anovos thread. And yes, the on screen helmet has the two tone too.

Ah, okay, I hadn't seen pics of the actual shipped helmet yet. The shots on the Anovos website look like it's all one shade.

So after unveiling some nice photos of the production sample on their Facebook page, Chronicle are now saying ‘we anticipate their arrival in our warehouse by the END OF THE QUARTER’ this is less than a week after I was told they would be shipping from distributors by early February...here we go.

Ha! You do understand this stuff ships from China, right? So something shipping now from there would take until the end of March or early April to arrive stateside. So not sure what you mean by your post

Not to mention it's currently Chinese New Year and the viral outbreak in China is going to add longer than normal shipping times.

You're right, they did not say, specifically, Feb. I read that on an other post from a guy who "supposedly knows." ...sigh.
Originally they said Anticipated to ship in Q1 2020
Then they said on FB We anticipate their arrival in our warehouse by the end of the quarter, which means to me they won't SHIP in the first quarter, but be DELIVERED TO THEM, HOPEFULLY, by the end of Q1. I also hope they don't pull the same BS they did with the PC Boba Fett helmet and NOT deliver to the preorder stores at the same time they're shipped to the people who ordered from their website. As far as I know BBT STILL hasn't gotten the ones they ordered to presell to people.
If it gets pushed back a bunch you'll probably still be able to get the refund without the 10% fee. I preordered the JP goggles from them as soon as they were released. After they got pushed from Q1 of 2019 to Q2, to Q3, to Q4 I just told them it had been pushed back a bunch of times and I'd rather not have my money wrapped up in it anymore. They were very nice about refunding it and did it quickly.
