I spoke to a Chronicle rep a few days ago who informed me that the entire quantity of 750 helmets had shipped from the Chinese manufacturers, I am optimistic that this means they will be dispatched soon after from the US based distributors.

That makes sense. I don't think there would be a live streamed event to say it has been delayed. They are trying to generate sales for a product that is on the way.
Well that production sample looks great... but no real update on delivery. He hesitated and mumbled a lot while talking about delivery. Only to leave it at “we are still aiming for Q1 of this year”....

They’re seated correctly against the helmet from what I can see. No flare out like the Anovos. They have the proper painted highlights, the “button” on the upper cap and “T” highlight on the lower. Same sculpture as the real ears. My thoughts would be they’re very very good.
As dark as the video is, the finish does look great as well. I’d love to see it in better lighting but as of now, I don’t have any critiques at all, it’s a great helmet. Night and day compared to what Anovos put out.
Ah, I didn’t realize they still had some available. It is very very tempting. If I didn’t drop money into printing and molding my own, I would jump on it.
I’d have to sell my blaster and something else to fund.. maybe in the future.

That’s the first time I’ve seen it from the side, so big, ugly and awkward looking. It really lets the the whole display down. And the creaking every time they touched it in the video lol.
Nice looking helmet though.
I don’t think I’ll be using the stand it comes with. It really does look awkward and unnecessarily big. Most likely end up with a standard (RS style) stand and add the plaque to it.
Have any of you guys seen the AFX (Artisan FX) take on this helmet? I want one but would like to know an experts view on which one looks better/screen accurate? The price is roughly the same I believe.

I received this stand with the EFX Scout helmet, and man it was such a disappointment. Creaking noises all the time and its weird shape made me easily replace it with a solid wooden stand made by a RPF member in a run long ago. The EFX stand is back in the original box. I only kept the plaque and plaque holder and displayed them with the helmet on the wooden stand - you just need to unscrew the plaque holder from the ugly acrylic stand.
