Hey guys! I'm curious why there is not a lot of discussion on the EFX Mandalorian Helmet here in the RPF. Maybe I've missed it. Either way I just got an E-mail invite to see the unboxing of one of the EFX Mando helmets by Chronicle Collectibles. Hopefully this means we will see these shipping real soon. Just glad we finally get to see how these EFX helmets turned out. Just thought I'd bring this up in case some of you that have ordered it, missed the email.

I actually posted this too. I was wondering why nobody is really discussing it. I preordered one so I'm looking forward to checking out what it looks like on Thursday. I know one member said they'd ordered both the Anovos and Efx helmets, so that will be interesting to see side by side. The "ears" on the Anovos appear to angle outward rather than straight up. I didn't realize until another member pointed it out, but sure enough, if you look at the promotional photos they're the same way. The Efx helmet on the other hand seem to be straight up.
Honestly? It’s probably because no one expects it to come out. Ask people about the biker scout helmets screwup and you’ll see no one trusts this company anymore.

Until I see someone holding it, wearing it, that’s all photoshop. I know efx and Bryan and those guys who make these products. Their final products can look drastically different from their prototypes. And take it from a CG artist, photos from ANY company can and will be doctored to make the product look better than it actually is.
The biker scout helmet fiasco is well documented here and people have been waiting YEARS for what RS can make in a day. Ridiculous. And they have no background or credibility for delivering on time.
The Boba Fett helmet is, unfortunately, an anomaly.
We will see.

Ahhh! You are right, I totally forgot about that thread. I’ve been following the anovos one so closely I forgot I even posted on it.
Yes I think this EFX version is the one to get. Fingers crossed and they are ready to ship. I mean, if Chronicles already has one to showcase in this upcoming video, that means they may be ready to start shipping to customers.
I do agree, we will have to see the final products.
The main good point of it being the direct cast from a production helmet.
As for the big debacle, I am glad I didn't preordered the Scout helmet back in the days.
It's a shame they are offering new products without honoring all their previous sales.
The most disturbing being the lack of (honest) communication.
I understand the feeling since I did preordered stuff but from ANOVOS, just before they started to do the same thing EFX did.
Sadly still waiting for some stuff I preordered back in 2017...
It’s rough. I NEVER got one of the Vader Legends or my Thor helmet. I’ll NEVER order from them again. eBay only.

I never got them. And every singe email was ignored. Even a friend of my who worked there tried to email the owners and said hey and still nothing.
We are all suckers, frankly. We’d NEVER put up with this kind of treatment from say McDonald’s or BMW. There is no way. It’s because we are huge nerds that we want things like we see in the kivies and are willing to almost certainly get screwed because we hold out hope that “this time will be different.”
My ANOVOS orders are pending. And I paid for my Mando helmet two weeks ago. Still nothing. No update on shipping or anything.
To be clear. I ordered three Vader helmets and received two out of the three I was charged for.
Yeah, until they actually start shipping and I see them on peoples' shelves, I don't think there's really much to talk about.
These will happen. I'm looking forward to it.
Fingers crossed for today’s live event. Hoping the helmet looks good and that we get good news and updates on delivery.
