As long as they don't use Christian Bale I'll remain hopeful! Of course a Batman cameo would be cool.

I'll remain optimistic. Nolan did a lot of good with the Batman franchise. Not much chance he'll direct, but as long as he can stop people from casting Nicholas Cage or making a man of steel that doesn't fly there is hope.
