Thanks! As far as the hexes are concerned, I cut a cardboard template based on the width of the tape, and cut them out. Then, attaching them symmetrically was just a matter of patience and good hand/eye co-ordination. Made the sleeves too short though, so gotta do them again! Plus, working on both Nightcrawler and Ant Man at the same time, and farting around with the Vision(gotta have a Marvel character ready for Stan Lee's visit!)Another Canuck here! Love the frog tape and dye idea! How did you keep the hexagons symmetrical?
Thanks for the compliment! More to come...Unworn I was like :/ but when u have it on.... OMG!!! FANTASTIC!!! you have done a great job with that dude!!!! The belt is amazing!!!!... can't wait for more![]()
Hey there, FanExpo was a blast! I was 1940's Captain America on Sat, Alex Ross Batman on Sun. We did a Marvel photoshoot out in the lobby, and Stan himself came and joined us! It was EPIC!Hey Looch, another lower-mainlander here. Did you make it to Fan Expo? I was there on Saturday, but I did not stand in line to meet Stan. The lineup just looked too brutal, plus I didn't have enough spare cash for an autograph.
I'll be unveiling CC on July 1st, Canada. Nightcrawler was scrapped, but I'll get a pic of the finished Ant Man soon.Wow, that hex pattern looks great. It will really help those that want to make the Cap from the Uncanny Avengers.
So what do your other works in progress look like? Will there be a giant unveiling?
I have everything on hold right now, as both my sewing machine AND my serger are broken and on their way to the shop! More progress when they come back, hopefully next weekHow's the Cap coming eh?
