Captain America: The Winter Soldier (Pre-release)

Re: Captain America: The Winter Soldier

I'd guess it's more money (how much do i get for my cameo) and contracts more than anything else. Scheduling is probably the very last issue that comes up if I had to guess.

As just an example, from what i've heard, RDJ signed a 6 film deal for IM. So, if he cameo's in CA2 does that count as one of the 6? etc..

why does it seem marvel has a too-tight leash on its coffers. was johnson replaced because of money. i think he did a good job with cap's movie. maybe a sequel in present day might be a better story directing-wise. im still miffed that they replace john favreau with black, even tho most of the problems with IM2 was that marvel rushed that production (much to the dismay of favreau who commented on it on the bluray commentary track). which is probably why he was replaced.

In my humble opinion, Joe Johnson has made a name for himself with period-films. They need someone else with a younger uaproach to film, to bring Cap into the present.

The rumors are that Anthony Mackie is in talks to play The Falcon. I remember him all the way back to 8 Mile. He was good in that movie. Funny, I always thought he would make a great Black Panther. Nice job Marvel people if he ends up playing Falcon.

I really hope they bring Falcons costume to more modern times. I've always hated his costume. But he is a great character, and do hope they use him well in CA.

Re: Captain America: The Winter Soldier

I agree Falcon would be a cool modern character if they do it right. Maybe he is an elite SHIELD agent kinda like Clint "Hawkeye" Barton.

Re: Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Would be better and more realistic than:

Still gotta love Brian Blessed though.

Re: Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Sebastian Stan is confirmed to return as Bucky in the film. Hopefully with a metal are and full on badass!

Unrealistic considering that Steve Rogers has superhuman strength and Bruce Wayne does not.

strength is not the only criteria.
remember, batman beat superman in a fight, and id say he is stronger than cap ;) (even with the effects of the red kryptonite)

Re: Captain America: The Winter Soldier

I want that 5 minutes of my life back.

Re: Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Oh, wow, yeah, that Cap in that fan film looks bad. His mask doesn't even fit.

Is anybody else not feeling the title "The winter soldier"? I think it sounds kind of wimpy and sort of like an air freshener.

Still looking forward to the film though. :)

I dunno I'm a huge Winter Soldier fan so I have a bias on the title

Re: Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Does he have is own comic? Is it worth checking out? Well, you're a fan, so, that's probably a stupid question. :)

I don't know anything about the character.

I think its worth checking out but then again I was always a fan of guns and spy stuff :lol. Its a lot like the Bourne series but with super heroes.

Winter Soldier/Bucky had a one shot in 2007 but now has his own series. follows him after he left the Captain America mantle when Steve Rogers came back. Right now he is teamed up with Black Widow trying to track down ex Russian sleeper agents as he once was.
