They did a good job on the straps. Should be very easy to insert the star buckle.
For those that may be ordering a suit do we ask for a Louie? and was there any additional cost?
Really looking forward to seeing this completed.

If you post a full shot, not to be to probing, but can you include your height and weight.... just as a reference for us big kids.

Need more Caps to displace all these Iron Men.

I'll try to post more pics later as I need helping zipping it up, but for the most part they got the fit right. I may need to have it altered here and there.

And no, they did not charge an additional cost. If you order, there is a comments section where you can include detailed measurements. I added that I wanted a single strap back so it looked more like the movie version, and for them to email me first if they had any questions. I guess they knew what I was talking about and/or that they have received that request in the past, because I never heard from them. Also, I was pretty impressed with how fast they made it and got it to me. Again, I'm really happy with it. I can see how with some modifications it will look awesome. I won't obsess over every detail like some, but it should be nice enough to impress come Halloween.

The center strap going down the back? It's just shy of one inch and three quarters. 1 3/4"

I also have a couple questions: How much bigger was the neck opening than your actual neck, and does the back strap still attach to the white undershirt like the front straps? I'm interested in getting this suit and wanna know what I'm in for.=P

The neck opening is a lot bigger. See the pic Guardian Devil posted in his thread. Just like that. One of the marks against this suit. BUT, there is plenty of material there, so I do not think it will be a problem for a competent seamstress to fix. I hope to do that in the near future and I'll post pics if I do. As for the back strap, that has a buckle and a loop at the bottom for a belt to go through. Should help to keep the fit snug. The illusion should work fine I think.

another quick update here as the buckles I ordered from Hikz (Jamie) for the junkyard!
Very nice clean casts minimal work needed maybe a little repaint but leather belt is on order too just sorting out pouches..

hey guys im in the same predicment as most of u. i cant decide on an avengers captain america costume. im going to buy seperate boots and a seperate helmet. so which costume should i buy
1.
Captain America new halloween Avenger's costume any size | eBay
2.
The Avengers NEW Captain America Costume Set
also if anyone has any other suggestions i would really appreaciate them

Need to see the suits, kind of hard without links, but Shellhead did a good version of the Avengers suit.
